New range of SNS chips no longer need an uprated fuel pressure regulator. Stick with the one you have. Jetex cone filter & heatshield will work much better than the original airbox. 8) If you're getting a Merc intercooler - have new aluminum header tanks made. The original plastic tanks are crap & they leak. :( In fact you'd do far better to get hold of a Golf G60 intercooler - fits straight into the Corrado with no modifications required, except for the pipework.

khurrado, - I'll make some enquiries tomorrow & see if I can get an approximate delivery date

Bored at work again.. I momentarily panicked & thought someone had moved my car from the car park. Different back lights though - panic over

Chr1s, Welcome to the forum m8 8) If you read a few posts above you'll see that we're expecting stock shortly, although I don't have an exact date yet.
-
We have a new batch due in stock soon (different supplier) - not sure of the exact design until they arrive though  89534 GRILLE LIP SPOILER CO 12.95 Add is this the one???? 12.95 seems a bit on the cheap side That's the one  These "eyebrow spoilers" are essentially, just a moulded piece of plastic. Contrary to some other suppliers, we don't beleive in ripping people off. 8)

Possible & not toooo difficult to do without spring compressors. Although if you have no experience with suspension, it would be much easier if you had them. We sell the compressors that you need but I don't think we currently have any branches near where you live. Doesn't usually cost too much more to have the springs fitted by the garage that will be doing your 4-wheel alignment. Be sure to replace the front & rear top mountings at the same time - your old ones are likely to be worn out.

I want some of those wheels, what ET rating are they ?? Do they rub on the chassis as well, or just the rear outer arches ?? -
Gonna have to get some piccys of mine taken soon then

So far as I'm aware there is only 1 type of top spring plate for the VR6 - I even have them fitted to my G60 8) The front springs should taper inwards at the top to meet the spring plates.

Depends what may have gone wrong inside the charger but yes it could. Try removing the long poly-belt & turning the charger pulley by hand. Should turn smoothly & freely. Also remove & check for excess oil in the charger outlet pipe. Should be a very light coating of oil inside the pipe - any more than this & your apex/scroll seals inside the charger are likely to be damaged. Not sure how many miles your car has done but the chargers have been known to "blow" from 50,000miles upwards !! If your charger feels okay - have a look at your cam belt. Cam belt needs changing every 50,000 miles too. If your cambelt has gone or jumped by more than 1 tooth - expect cylinder head & valve damage !!
-
Sounds like it maybe charger problems - when was your charger last serviced ?? Possibly even a worn cambelt - may have jumped a tooth or so ?? Nope

Synta oils are specifically designed & formulated for use in VW engines. It is/has been made under licence by 3 different oil companies - Esso, Shell & now I'm told it's made by Castrol. 15w50 oil will be okay to use but only in certain circumstances - eg, in a vehicle used mainly for track days. Or for general use in most OHV engines. This oil is just too thick to use in a vehicle with a OHC engine, in daily road use. The greatest amount of engine wear occurs when the engine is cold. OHC engines need the oil to be thin enough when cold to circulate through the engine during the warming-up period. This is why VW do not recommend using it !!

Cos a standard G60 clutch won't last very long in a tuned G60 !! it seemed to last well enough in front of you on the way back from the stoke meeting !!! Ahh - I know who you are now  VR clutches last a lot longer in tuned G60's - they're a little stronger & take the extra power better.
-
Get a LUK clutch - G60 Sachs ones ain't anywhere near as good

I agree Ian, point 4 looks most likely
