Not sure - it was for sale on Autotrader a couple of months ago. From memory, I think it was a VR but I'm not sure.

dr_mat, I'm gonna fetch our works digicam (huge memory card) to the next meet & post photos of everybody's cars on here. That's the only decent photo of mine in existance - thanks for taking it Jim  -
sparky, where do you live - I'm sure somebody on here will be local & let you have a look at their car ??

I'm gonna have to see if I can get them here in the UK - they'll really suit my G60 -
Nope - may get them in when the rear seat backrest is tilted forwards though
-
The rear seat backrests do fold forwards but not right down - they kind of sit at an angle. Maybe they would fold flat if the rear seat cushion & armrest was removed ?? Boot is a similar size to a Ford Fiesta

1990 G60 Fuel Problems... Costing me a fortune in gas ):

Sounds likely to be a dodgy earth somewhere - start with the CO2 sensor earth as described above. The other engine & gearbox earth straps can also affect the ECU - check & clean those also. Just a thought - check the rear calipers first. Go for a drive & if the rear calipers get very hot (too hot to touch) - they're binding. -

I want black wheels the same as these - -
jedi-knight83, I'll send you a PM with the price tomorrow m8 They're a progressive bumpstop - hard & solid at the top, fairly soft at the bottom. I just chop the rock hard bit off the top & retain the lower progressive section.
-
No - blue temp sensor would be in the plastic housings that attach the water hoses to the cylinder head/crankcase. I doubt you'll have one fitted - uncommon with K-Jetronic (mechanical) injection
-
jedi-knight83, the spongy genuine VW ones that we sell will fit over slightly fatter shocks - I have fatter shocks on mine. I used a little grease on the shocker shaft to ease the bumpstops on with. 2-3mm wider than standard diameter won't be a problem.

I'd love to race a few laps in the Golf :rambo:
-
Sounds like you're definitely overfuelling Mixture adjustment screw may have unwound itself & may even have fallen out - should be located on the throtle body somewhere
-
Certainly does - the rear bumpstops also act as "helper springs"
-
Unless the axle's bent or the bushes/mountings are knackered, you shouldn't need to change anything
-
Send a PM to Blue_Joe, he's coverted all of his dash lights - including the MFA display as well

Great looking car m8 - lowered suspension looks the bizz 8)
-
Join the CCGB & go with Chris Knott insurance - they beat Adrian Flux by just over £300 for me last year 8)
-
Yeah - they're a slightly colder plug - very noticable power dfference when I fitted mine
-
Similar to how your's used to sound before you had the front silencer fitted 8)
-
You going for F# then?
-
Change the plugs to Bosch W5DPO's & fit a boost return kit - definite power gains :rambo:
-
A lot of Henny's engine work was done by John Mitchell (JMR Racing) 16vg60 on the forum. Maybe worth sending him a PM.
