I don't know what you're all moaning about - all this car needs is some nice seat covers   Like these - -
It's not actually the screen vents that are my problem - they work okay, as do the footwell vents. My problem is that no air comes from the front dash vents. Neither the centre or either of the 2 side vents work  To top it all - my heater motor is rather noisy too. Still, I suppose if I can't get a new one cheaply then nobody can

really ??? im no daddie ... im more of a doctor of G's   :notworthy: Dr Darren :notworthy:

wardc1980, Where exactly would you like me to start ? They had to rebuild my charger twice ? They didn't replace all the bearings that were worn ? Their attemp at porting is basic ? They lied to me ? I think you get the picture - I wasn't very impressed with them at all :x
-
Ohh what joy - I'm gonna have to fix mine soon :(
-
I will go "public" with the details fairly shortly - once I have spoken to one of their company directors tomorrow (again). Suffice to say - I will never use them again
-
Will do Jim - can't go public yet as this very serious issue has yet to be resolved !!
-
I currently have a rather serious issue with Chris Knott insurance :clown: Have any of you had any problems with them ??
-
Cheers Kev, I'll pass your comments on to our company owner (Stan) when I meet with him later this week  It's always good to get feedback from customers, wether that be good or bad 8)
-
Steve, I think Mike was refering to your coment about the GSF springs  I'm as honest as the day's long & our "GS&F Sporting" lowering springs are sh1te  The remark was relevent because they make the car sit on the floor - they are way too weak !!

what colour should i paint my callipers??
stevemac replied to jedi-knight83's topic in General Car Chat
that was exactly my thinking when i did mine.............i was going to go for the "factory" silver finish but then thought about how dirty the alloys get after a day or two and so thought better of it  Exactly the reason that I bought a black car  -
Mike - If somebody asks a question (2CC), I will answer that question - regardless of wether another person finds it to be "off topic" or not

dr_mat, My g/f thinks your sig rocks m8 8)  -
I wonder how much of it is actually a G60 ?? Bodywork & badges maybe :?:
-
Storm, So far as I know - we stock the flexi hoses, although I have no idea what the part numbers would be. It will probably cost you as much to skim the discs as it would to replace them.
-
2CC, your rear springs should hold the weight of your car without any bumpstops fitted at all. Sounds to me like your springs may not be suitable and/or your rear shockers require replacing. Which springs have you fitted ?? Hopefully not GS&F lowering springs - they're total crap !! (I took mine back for a refund)
-
The rear axle is adjustable to a certain extent - there is small amount of sideways adjustment in the 2 main axle mountings. Mine was recently adjusted while the car was undergoing a 4-wheel alignment
-
There's usually a few for sale at most of the VW shows - I counted around 10 at "Edition 38" last month.
-
According to the VR6 model history section in the May '02 edition of VW Driver mag, the actual colour of this car is called Magic Black. Although I'm not sure whether it is either flat or metallic. IIRC its a metalic Official name of mine is "brillantschwarz met" (brilliant black metallic) - code LA9V

vr6storm, could that be the one that was on autotrader ?
