  1. Off Topic -- Nice Avatar :? As were on the subject of drilled airboxes, whats the best way to fill the holes back up, or would it be best to just buy a new box
  2. My insurance is with Adrian Flux / ensign and they were half the price of anybody. But it depends on so many different things that the best thing is to just get as many quotes as poss. There’s a thread on here somewhere that lists loads of Ins Co's, do a search for it.
  3. A car with high mileage but has been looked after should be ok. 1K sounds like quite a good deal but id start low and see where you go from there.
  4. Welcome to the forum Ed How much is he selling for ??

    wishbone mission

I took my car for some new tyres a while ago and forgot the lock key  but the guy at the garage just said he’s got one that will fit, so you might want to take it to your local tyre place. I heard that Halfords do a locking wheel nut removal key for about £10......Its a bit worrying that anyone can just buy one to nick your wheels :(

    MPG

Worth checking the other end of the pipe too - it attaches to the valve on the brake servo vacuum pipe - next to the ISV. You mean i said something right

    MPG

Id check that the vac pipe for the MFA is still attached to the back of the clocks.
  10. A couple of pics of the ISV location and what it looks like (sorry these are the best pics i have of it) The ISV does what its called and keeps the idle stable, not sure how it really works but i know that mine wasn’t working and my car had a slight backfire and the revs would be all over the place. Also helps cold starting i believe This thread from Club GTI might also help http://www.clubgti.com/forum/forum_post ... =3114&PN=1

    Front Bumper

Can somebody tell me what plastic the front bumper is made from (eg PP EPDM ABS PBT etc) saves me from taking it off my car  Cheers J
  16. I didn’t get mine from the G/B cos mine were lost in the post (Royal Mail :x ) I got mine last week for my B'day so they will most likely be from a different batch to yours. So must be a fault on all of them  Seeing as their some of the most expensive rear lights for a car that ive seen you’d think they would be perfect

    Tesco 99RON

A friend of mine that lives in Sevenoaks told me about this, apparently it a Super unleaded trial that there doing so its not at all of their petrol stations. If someone comes across it and wants to try it id like to know if its any good.
  18. Ive just heard that Tesco are doing a 99RON unleaded petrol !!!!!! Its 85.9p per litre. I never go to supermarket petrol stations cos ive heard that the fuel is c*** but i pay over 90p per litre for Optimax so it might be a little tempting to have a go. Anybody else heard of this or tried it???

  24. The best thing to do is call the insurance Co and ask if it would affect your policy IF you had these mods done........theres to many factors for anybody else to tell you how much more you would pay.
