Thats what ive always thought but i saw my brothers mates C the other day and it got me thinkin. I spend to much on pertol, keeping it on the road every month to be able to afford a body shop at the min so im just curious.

Can someone give me a hand with this pic, my mate started on it and it looks good but i cant get hold of him at the min and just wondered if one of you guys could help out. Im looking to have the tailgate flushed and french the number plate into the rear bumper. Ive seen this on a couple of C's and have had mixed feeling about it, so just want to see how it looks on my car.

I think theyll look cool why not get them photoshoped on to your car, by "adapters" do you mean spacers to push the wheels further out towards the arch, if so then yes i have some 10mm ones on the back of my car. I also got some longer wheel bolts coz i didnt trust the orig ones with less thread in the hub.

Got one........I took the broken one off this morning and went to Zaks autos (half the price of Halfords and next to each other) Zak knew what it was before i had said anything. £2.50 just wish everything was that easy and cheap......thanks guys.

Im gonna sound really stupid now Steve but what do i ask for at Halfords LOL also i know your from round here mate so can you advise which Halfords to go to as i dont think my local Halfords (Huddersfield) would have it in stock, i might be wrong it takes 20min to find a member of staff in there let alone get a part.........

Thanks guys, Ive had a better look now and its the sensor at the front which i think is the MFA one.......It looks like the sensor has a crack because the oil is spurting under revs (only when engine is hot) from the metal spade connector right on the top, so its not the thread. Anyone have any idea as to where i might get a sensor on a Sunday !!!!!!!

1.8 16v Ive had an oil leak for the last week, im loosing oil like there’s no tomorrow !!!!! I couldn’t find the leak anywhere until this morning when i had the bonnet open and the engine on, everytime id rev the engine there’s a massive shot of oil coming from the top of the oil cooler. The oil is coming out of the white plug that the electrics attach to. Has anybody come across this b4 and how can i fix it. Ive taken a pic but its not to good sorry :lol:

We're not splitting....just a conversation we were having. Not letting her go cos she pays for everything for me. She paid for car, tax, insurance, MOT, having the brakes fixed for the MOT.....not lettting her go so put your phone numbers away. I've got an oil leak at the mo so no doubt I'll be speaking to her very sweetly over the weekend.

My g/f has a Y plate saxo and she asked me today if it's possible to get air con fitted as it's not standard, I think I'm right in saying that VTR/VTSs came with air con. Do you think it would be possible to swap the air con from one of these into her 1.5D.

Neither of us have a receipt......it was a cash sale and she :D forgot to get one. However i wasnt working at the time and she can prove that she had 40K in the bank from her house sale. Also if i do a runner with the car then she can cancel the insurance cos she also paid for that on her CC (arnt i a lucky guy)

It was bought outright. She doesnt have a receipt for the car but also i cant prove it was a present..... She was dancing round the room when she read the first post "Riley"

My g/f said today that the person named on a V5 is not always the legal owner of the car !!!!! We were talking about this because she bought my car for me as a present 8) and the V5 and all other docs (insurance etc) are in my name but she said that if we were to split then she would get the car :( Any views on the subject............
