Bleach was recorded for $600 in just a couple of days so it doesnt sound (quality) as good as an album that a record company puts loads of money behind like GD. Still both good albums 8)

If i remember from my old 8v golf then the isv only had one inlet part (sorry i know its not very tech of me) so this one is for the 16v and wont fit. Might be wrong though LOL

Its probably ok to have the std bolts with the spacers but i got some longer ones from by brother just for peace of mind. Ill give him a call and see if he can get some more if you like.

My brother lives nr MK and has a std (apart from Momo alloys) J plate silver valver, ill ask him if it was him. Sorry no its wasnt him.......he was tryin to fix a S3's engine at work til 11.30 that night :lol:

Would i be right in saying that to change the from early to late bonnets you have to also change the front wings............or am i just going mad.

The bottom line is mate that its your car and you can do what you want to it...TBH i wouldnt touch them with yours LOL I think they might look quite good on say A20 LEE's car as he only has the outer parts.........

Can i just clear this up for my own benefit (sorry) Early bonnets go down in the middle ---___--- just like a MK2 golf for example and the late ones go up in the middle ___-------___ is that right. Its just that mine is a '90 valver and the bonnet goes up in the middle :roll: I know my bonnets been off in the past cos it was painted black by the last owner to try and make it look like a carbon item :roll: :roll: :roll:

I got B&Q to cut me some MDF to the right size, then trimmed it in acoustic cloth and it looks perfect. 5-6 quid for the MDF and £10 for two rolls of a cloth from ebay.......cant go wrong with that :lol:

It was quite a while ago that i got my holder and i can see any on ebay at the min, but i have seen seen them on there since. Ill keep my eye out for you. The one ive got has slopes so that the dials are pointed at the driver 8)

Ive got a pre moulded 3 gauge holder that fits in place of the stereo. I bought it months ago for my old Mk2 Golf but never fitted it, i had a look today and its a near perfect fit for the ashtray/cig location......... after seeing the pics in this thread guess what im thinking :lol:

Thought id have a quick look at there website and found this "We recognise any car registered in 1983 or before as a classic" So how can you insure a C as a classic.........remember i might be missing something LOL
