I like both , but the think that i like most about my G60 is (not being funny) if I pass another Corrado on the road it is either a 16V or most likely a VR6 not passed another G60 yet, only those at shows. Which I think does say something there are alot more VR's about and it's the ones that none dubbers will go for because its a 2.9 V6 so expect it to be the fastest one. So sorry lads no mater how much I like the VR6 i;ll stick with the exclusivity of a G60.

If they advertise a product for a certain price they are obliged to sell it you at that price. Along as there was no small print saying you have to prove purchase of the seats. Paying for an item whether over the internet or phone, and not recieving that product is classed as fraud, they cannot change there mind and want more money after you have paid for it, or change their mind on the deal after they have recieved your money.

Try The Sony Ericsson HCB-30 Bluetooth hands free car kit. It will work with any bluetooth phone. Smart kit too belive it only needs power to the unit, the speaker and mic are in one box so no other wiring and it has a small remote to mount on the dash.

Are Corrado's the best looking affordable car ever?
dubboy replied to PhatVR6's topic in General Car Chat
RobyD My brother always takes the p*** saying my car looks like a delorean Well it was designed by the same bloke. -
yeah I only found out the other day that my mates VR6 ones were red. Sat in the driver seat thinking they look different then it dawned on me. :)

Gav installed one of his looms last night on my car and I was well impressed to say the least.

Try Chips-Away got them to do a bit of rust by my rear corrado badge and they touch other little areas too bit on spoiler and roof for around £80 inc VAT. Did bag up job to, damn good match as they tailor it to the car from the basic paint code. As he showed me there was actually three shades of the same paint code fo my car. As VW update them every so often. Due to raw materials changing so they have to alter the amounts of colours that make up the final one.

Yeah just got two delivered yesterday from GPC think it was £36 inc VAT think it was £44 from VAG. Got these to solve the water leak I have in the passengers side, as with them being twelve years old the rubber was about 5mm from the glass so with the heavy rain lately was letting the water into the door then the car.

I gather from looking at the picture the centre is illuminated as so you can see the needles. But looks to in your face. Hopefully something can be figured out with the needles. VR6 says Needles are orange anyway though - would you really need red needles especially? Not on the pre 92 cars they are white.

Gavin how do I go about getting one of your looms?

Too true I've been looking at leather interior's from a corrado for some time and alot are over priced when for a £100 or so more you can have your own seats retrimed exactly how you like. When I spoke to dave earlier in the year he told me the same about the door cards, seem like a real good guy as he said if I wanted to come look at some leather samples at a weekend he would open up especially. Just not got round to going over to talk to him yet, got a good idea at what I want though.

Not had mine retrimed by DB Cartrim yet, but seen there work at its top notch. I had the same impression of some of the MJ stuff. And DB have been doing all types of VW's for years.

They also had a third red that was commonly used which was in between which was Flash Red.

A stint inside if anyone messed with it.

Dubsport are good at what they do, some people say they are a bit on the dear side compared to an everyday garage, but thats what you expect for a profesional job and they know whats what on all dubs. I've dealt with them for years and never had any problems (especially now I only live five minutes away), a spades a spade with them if you get my drift. They will let you know what needs doing in what order etc. (no I don't work there) As for the guy who you say sounds like a drip I think I know the one your on about but cannot remember his name, yeah he isn't the best person to put on reception but once you get to know them they are a good bunch of lads.

[quote="Your most likely going to have the 90mm one, mine starts off around 50mm at the edges and goes to 90mm around the middle of the car.

Dubsport is just off juntion 27 of the M6 matey. Being piccy Eleanor was a Shelby Mustang 350 GT (I know sad really)
-
Mine does it too. There was an old thread somewhere about it seems that alot of them have this problem.
-
Yeah I thought we were going for black dials so as to look as standard. That was the reason for basically keeping them the same style as the factory items.
-
CHEERS GUYS. so 7x17 et 35-38 is a safe bet if i'm lowering it about 40mm
-
Anyone got an idea on what type of alloys are on this Corrado??
-
Cheers looks like Azev H's are out of stock anyway.

Would I have any problems fitting 7.5x17", wheels with 205/40/17 tyres and the ofset of 4x100 et40 on my G60? If so how low could I drop the suspension before I encountered any problems. Just that I have found a place that will do Azevs at a very reasonable price.

I second that Henny, mine just missed out on the changes. But as I belive the front end of mine was set up ready for the changes as the later spec three bar grill should not find the early C's without some mods to the pins that hold it in place as they are in different places, but the front end of mine has all the holes for both old and new grills.
