Gets better. This is an email from EBAY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Looks like they have cloned some bodies ebay account and are having a field day! -----Original Message----- From: eBay United Kingdom Customer Support [mailto:spoof@ebay.co.uk] Sent: 01 December 2004 22:24 To: Kieran Gannon Subject: Your mail to eBay UK Customer Support (KMM108231699V39813L0KM) Hello, Thank you for contacting eBay about an E-Mail you received that appears as though it is an authentic E-Mail from eBay. We will investigate this situation immediately. Please be advised that there have been cases where people have attempted to gain access to an eBay member's personal information by sending "spoof" E-Mails. Spoof E-Mails intentionally give the false impression that they have been sent by eBay to solicit people to transmit their account information. Based on your inquiry to eBay, the E-Mail you received was likely to be a spoof. If you entered personal information such as your password, or credit card numbers into a web site based on a request from a spoofed email, you need to take immediate action to protect your identity.

I Have just recieved an email from ebay requestion payment and complete transaction details. Recon its a spoof? Last email from TT below The thing is that if you want to come here and wiew the ar I will have to cancel he shipping arrangements and also pay again for all fees and customs so that the car can be ready for shipping. So if you want to come here and to inspect it or if you want me to send you some papers,logs,V5 registration and other documents that are already at LUFTHANSA ,and by going there and taking them I will have to make once again all arrangements,I am requesting a GBP 500 downpayment. If you will coe here you will have to arrange your own shipping or drive it back home. So unless you want to pay more money or if you want me to cancel the arrangements that I already made and already paied for, please don't ask information tht cannot be provided at this time. Thanks

I have saved the identy of the emailer. -----Original Message----- From: Sent: 30 November 2004 00:40 To: Subject: 2001 AUDI TT QUATTRO ROADSTER at GBP 5,000.00 Hello, my name is *** and first of all I want to thank you for showing interest in the car that I have for sale. Second thing that I want you to know is that recently I have moved in Italy as i got a very good job here. This is the main reason I am selling the car for so low prices. I took the car with me here with the intention to register it here and drive. That was not possible because it has UK specs and are made for UK streets, right hand drive and other features that don't allow to be registered anywhere else except UK. So right now i am seling: 2001 AUDI TT QUATTRO ROADSTER at GBP 5,000.00 225 BHP colour Blue WITH HARDTOP 14000miles Options: Air Conditioning, Alarm, AM/FM Stereo, Cassette Player, Catalytic Converter, CD Player, Power Locks, Climate Control, Convertible, Cruise Control, Handicap Accessible, Power Seats, Power Windows, Leather Seats,Power-assisted Steering (PAS), Premium Sound System, Rear Spoiler Bose sound 6 CD interchanger If you want more details don't hesitate to get back and i will reply with infos and photos. The car is in EXCELLENT condition,HPI clear and ready to be registered in UK in your name. I have all papers and logs that you will need to make the registration. I will provide bill of sale in your name to prove ownership. All keys and user manuals will be delivered. I have a connection that works for Lufthansa Airlines and I can get a great discount on shipping and so I can send it anywhere in UK for free. It has never been involved in any accidents and always stored in heated garage. Never been raced and always adult driving. So once again few important things: -excellent looking and running 2001 AUDI TT QUATTRO 225 BHP ROADSTER WITH HARDTOP at GBP 5,000.00 -shipping is free and the car will be delivered with all documents is maximum 7 days. -UK models with UK specs -HPI clear and ready to be registered -down payment accepted GBP 1,000.00 ( this means that if you want to buy it you just have to make a downpayment and I will ship it to you after the deposit is validated. To make the car-money exchange we will use eBay . Down payment is 100% refundable, meaning that if you won't like the car you will get your money back but I am sure it won't be the case as it is a state of art looking and running sport car. Get back and let me know if you are interested in more details. Thanks, Thanks for the email ***, It is very informative but still a little confused. I must say that I am very interested and have the monies available. If I can just recap, as I see it. You have bought the TT new in England in 2001 and registered it here as new. ( first Owner. ) You have now moved to Italy and have taken the car with you. The car is in Italy. Questions... Is there any VAT/ Excises to pay on the vehicle? What is the full registration? Has it been registered anywhere else? Who and where is the vehicle registered to? Who is the owner of the ebay account? Kind regards, Kieran. Hi XXXX, -----Original Message----- From: Sent: 30 November 2004 23:56 To: mailto:k1@v21mail.co.uk Subject: RE: 2001 AUDI TT QUATTRO ROADSTER at GBP 5,000.00 Hello, I am glad that you emailed me and that you are interested in buying my car. Tks Blue. Nothing wrong with a Pissrat just to find a half decent one with circa/below 30 k on the clock will cost more than I have currently in my pocket. agree BMW sucks but it was only an indication. Have had 2 E class's, never a problim but yes agree not my first choice. Omega seems to offer good value for money. Know a few people who has one and they are very pleased with them. would'nt mind racking up the milage in the old Vxhall. Anyway that is not the question in hand. WTK.

Blue? 40k miles a year???!!! you a salesman or summit? :?: Yes Blue. Where I come from you could say SHAM. Others say Mate. (soundes a little laytex) some say geezer but Blue on the otherhand is an expression of affection/courtesy (non Sexual) to thoese who you dont yet know but respect on a mutual interst. Salesman? NO TKS. I am a construction project manager. milage is the nature of the beast. somewhat nomadic.

Nice 1 mate, a promotion? what better executive car to be driving around in then a Storm Corrado, keep it mate  Cheers Blue, Hadn't thought of that. But I will be covering some 40k miles/ann and the C does'nt deserve that. I would like her to LIVE FOREVER. Long Live C.
-
Tks JimsG60. Not as simple as that. Passat would'nt go down too well and to find a decent one that has not gone to the moon or back is neigh on impossiable. I can get my hands on a decent enough exec car with some 15-30k on the clock for circa 7.5-9K grand. Needs something that will start.stop and go all day every day for the next gear or so and to go round cornor's would be a bonus. OMEGA 2.2 (52 plate) 15.5K on the clock £7.5G ??????
-
Tks Dr Mat. I will keep that offer in mind. Not
-
Comrades, a moment of indecision and need your help. My employment life has changed somewhat for the better and but need to purchase a more practical set of wheels more in keeping with my new role and will be clocking up the mileage. I will break my heart to part with my C and even more so to pile on unnecessary miles but I cannot afford to keep the C and buy another Merc/Beemer ect ect at this moment in time. What should I do.?????????? Spend Approx £1g on the Storm to make it mint? (50.5Kmiles and purring) or leave as is! Sell on ebay or give u lot first refusal. Ether way give me a clue Sell on Auto trader or to overseas buyer/collector Pls help me out on this one. :( :( :( :( Many thanks, Kieran.

Say what you mean there Blue. Took the words right out of my mouth. in a round-about sorta way

Stear clear Blue. The VR6 is superb but the old Passat 4speed auto box lets it down bigtime. (I should know) That auto box is now very "old Skool" and does not do the VR justice. It is very much a stop and go tool. Now that I am akin to Tip-tronic I could never face the old way of life. Heavy on the pocket, heavy on breaks and iffey in the wet. You gotta floor the VR auto box for kick down to get any smiles, but brown pants when its wetish. Anyway, thats my 2p around again but if your after performance a VR6 stick box. youll find it hard to beat. But if you are mind-set on a VR-auto, and if it was me, I would be looking to do a radical Audi tip-auto transplant. Good Luck
-
I sold my Vr6 C with 36K on the clock some 7 odd years ago. Where has this one been. or not as the case may be? 8) http://www.corradoclub.co.uk/classified1.html
