    3 Bar Grille - VR6

notecied that on saturday myself. Air intake to the bottom left is not much kop when you hit a pool of water at 60! Colour coded 3 slat grills were a hall mark of the storm. not sure of all late 95 vr's was the same?
  2. Here here, second that. Yep sounds like a good deal. I like White, Honest colour for the Corrado. Had a Scirocco GT11 in Alpine white, savage to keep clean but I loved her to bits, the dirty little mare

  14. Ah, That will be the one in the trader N20 (2.0 8V) that was looking for 2.5K for some time and now believe has dropped the price to 2K? Been in the loot for a number of weeks, listed and re-listed. :!: Its comming up to Christmas :!: Had no bite so far at 2K :!: Close trip out for you on sunday :!: Leather in VERY GOOD CONDITION HMMMMMMMM  If the paperwork is all OK, Not been Crashed (Look VERY CAREFULLY cills, overspray paint get down on your hands and knees and have a look underside to the seem and rust protection,) offer a max of £1500 and if worst comes to worst, will get your money back if you break it!
  15. :!: Man alive :!: Very nearly came a cropper today. Was installing new break pads to the front today when the car collapsed.       CAM (Christ all Mighty) could have been under it. The Jack was elevating the car in a normal fashion, Correctly install on my flat block paved driveway when the foot slipped sending the C crashing to the ground. Brown pants moment I can tell you. Luckily it slipped under the car at an angle (now knackered) and the 13mm spanner that i was just about to use on the lower calliper bolt prevented it from landing flat on the drive. So what do you recon, Caution to be used at ALL times?

  20. We (us Storm owners) are not bite'n. We all know about the alloys and the badges, but just as any rado/C owner we think ours are special  Fixed your 'storm' thing and quote for you -- jimsg60
  21. Long Live C, Should be right up there in the top 3. but hey, with the Defenderrrrrrrr (snoorrrrr) in P2  , think this pole is pants!
  22. Interesting, So what are we saying here.....exactly?. Just about to ask the very question as to where I can get my hands on a new corrado script badge ..late model. So, are there crome badges available or not? and if not how difficult would it be to crome a tired old one?
  23. Cheers Blue, Will have a look at that. Tks for the tip. All I need to do now is source the parts and find the time.
  24. Thanks you two. I drove it very easy today for about 40 + 40 miles (32mpg) and it only started knocking towards the end. I was driving fairly hard yesterday ( through MK Grid -rude not to  ) so I guess the hotter it got the bigger the prob sounded. The previous owner told me that the the boots were just changed and look new enough. Does anybody know of a web site where I can buy the new CV joints online? Unfortunatly so busy have not time to go shopping to stealers in the day time. Tks again.
  25. Help us out here guys Not been overly techi, but my car has developed a very terminal sounding knocking from the near side front drive. I guess you call it the CV joint and suspect that is the problim. It only happens when I apply power or turn cornors so its not the wheel bearing. Whats the score. Will I be ok to drive it for a short distance? where can I get it replaced. Is it something I can do myself? Where will I get the Part and how much? The setalers, How much are they likely to cost? The alloy looks as though It has recieved a knock in the past. (not perfectly circular) and has probly contributed to the problim. Thanking you all in advance. Kieran.
