i have similar running issues to yourself, would be interested if anyone can help.

so, i have running issues that when i drive and my car is under load, it splutters and revs die, then shoot back up, then die, the car has no power at all, and i come to a halt. i searched and found people suggest cleaning the MFa, ill do this 2morow, also the Blue temp sensor, and others suggest the Knock sensors. Now the knock sensors have me intrigued, coz i have no idea what or where they are, or how to change them or how much the parts are or anything? the temp sensors i can change myself, the MFA i can clean myself, but the knocks, no idea! can anyone help, or show me pics please? Neil

well i pulled the rubber out round the rear window, got a nice 2" hole under it, plugged it up with bathroom sealant for now, but im guessing new tailgate :(

the relay is # 21 top right of fuse box, mine is playing up at mo, doing my nut in!

awsome finish mate! How many rattle cans did it take of each different type? and i see you've taken the air intake for the interior heaters out, how will that work now?

I can only asume its because some colours require certain coloured primers to make the colour the propper shade, if i understand right, depending what primer you use, ie, white/black light/dark, it affects the final shade? I once had a pearlesant colour on my old car when having a full respray, and when i brought the paint i had to get a certain primer/base coat before the top coat. Neil

When i accelerate in either 1st/2nd or 3rd from about 1500 to 3-4000 revs i get a kind of flat spot where the car will still accelerate but then suddenly pick up a little and accelerate at a fast pace. Is this anything to do with the rev range where the cams kick in or anything, or something else i should look at? My car is a 1993 VR6 in white if that helps :D (i know the white bit wont : 8) ) cheers for help guys

lol, not honestly, i totally love my corrado, everyday i get in it and totally love turning the key and starting it, then rolling off the drive onto the open road (normally full of traffic) and just driving, i totally love it!

well i got a new on form vw, and i can see the round circlip on the new one, but how do u get the old one off? and i seem to have little tiny green red blue things with it, what are they for?
