halfrauds dont do sykes anymore do they they were selling stuff of cheap last year?

just phoned C&R they said they dont do the rear hoses as they are completely different to golf mk2 ones? my understanding was that they are the same is there another supplier as C&R are really unhelpful!!

what does this look like? could i make one easily enough or is buying the only solution?

im going to do the rear calipers first as the handbrake doesnt work well at all the drivers side is seized solid then ill do the the cv's maybe if that doesnt solve it if its still doing it at the mk meet maybe you could have a drive steve see what you think?

and mk3 98 model gti rear pads are the ones to have? how about make of pads pagids? dont really want to sand down pads as im bound to sand the at an angle!

they are et 65 what size adaptors should i go for? 20mm seem popular but will they fill the arches nicely?

ive got a new oil cooler it is an allard unit havent actually seen it yet a blind bargain buy from egay! just wondering how you get the old water oil cooler off? and i take it im going to use a new pipe without a take off for the oil cooler? any clues or part numbers would be great or pipe bore sizes so i can order some silicon hose up. cheers folks

yeah checked wheel bolts new wheel bearings too i think it must be drive shaft related as its affected by power rather than steering related are gsf's cv joints any good or should i go vag?

which cables? when you say break out plastic panel do you cut the whole thing out?

not sure i used powerflex i have noticed a clonk from the steering at any speed now doesnt do anything else just clonks! ill put it on the ramps tomorrow is there a way to check the track rod ends?

i should be ok i have moderately rolled rear arches. they aren't yours are they? i have seen those above on ebay! oh what spacers do you use on the 8" 90's riley? has that cheque arrived yet?

anybody got a pic of a set of polished 928 wheels on a corrado think these might be my summer wheels look like the rh toplines. they are et 55 so i take it a set of 20mm adapters would be about right to give an et of 35 im gonna run them with 205 tyres not a fan of the stretched look! also should i go for 8" on the rear and 7" on the front or 7" all the way round?
