yup warped disks can push the pistons back into the calipers giving no brakes at all next time you use them until you pump them back out get this on motor bikes alot.

thats horrible but a good idea there was a silver vr turbo in pvw a while ago that had a boost gauge in the clocks was very neat not a whole gauge just another portion of the clocks thats what ya want!
-
the filter on the rocker breather will get blocked straight away you should re route it to a catch tank thats what the pipes for dude! g-man has them made im getting one this week they bolt on near the expansion tank the whoosh comes from the boost return pipe off the throttle body sounds cool right?
-
arent they wonderful projects!! keep it all vag i reckon like the sky rocket sorm mk1 in retro cars with the s3 lump and nitrous gotta love it but youd know it would be a nightmare to run!
-

over the past week ive.... replace rear calipers with shiny mk4 items and the corresponding goodridge hoses put brand new vag rear disks on and rear bearings oh and 2 new handbrake cables. i now have a handbrake for the first time replaced an exhaust rubber. but mostly ive been lying underneath my rado trying to wobble bits to see why it pulls to one side under power! oh and forgetting to ring g-man to order my catch tank and the mocal bits i need for my oil cooler! over a few leisurely days i know but generally a nice few days of corrado love!
-
cheers guys ill check the motor mounts tie rods and steering rack mounts i thought about checking the motor mounts as i do get a bit of drivetrain back lash? but ill leave the tyre pressures till last heard that can be a pig of a job!!! :D
-
so i did the rear calipers and hanbbrake cables along with new vw disks and pagid fr pads this has made a huge difference but i found out the calipers were fine it was the cables rusted solid! oh well i put the mk4 items on anyway! and hennys right can now do h'brake turns!! but the bloody thing still pulls to one side gonna have another investigate but i think itll end up in the garage as ive got better things to be doing (oil cooler!!)
