  1. cheers for that just the kind of intelligence we welcome on the forum! you wouldnt be biased in any way would you? looking at your oc emblem. i have a good friend who has an '04 s2000 as is very unimpressed with it for the reasons i said, I agree with him after having driven his car thats all!
  2. do you need to add more oil?
  3. mines about 5" by about 25" long and thin!!!
  4. ive had a good drive in one that engine is horrible unless your going for it might as wel get a bike and a rado as its like a big bike in town i.e. unbearable!
  5. we all realise that a few months in a sensible car and youll be back i had an a4 with a 20v turbo engine and it bored the hell out of me!! a car that doesnt rattle (kev excluded) who could love such a beast!!
  6. but the water to oil cooler is virtually useless. We're guys who are gonna be fiddling about with our cars for a while yet, so why leave it in as its crap at cooling oil and as henny says the mocal plate has a thermo so no probs warming the oil. just remove it and that one less thing to go wrong!! mines going in this weekend and the std one is going straight in the bin :D
  7. too fast, police, crash your worried about those things, are you having a baby Jim? thems the words of an expectant father! get an astra estate nice and nippy very economical on a sunday!!
  8. its a spigot im sure looks like a spigot oh damn now i dont even know what a spigot is!! mounting it mmmm ive got a allard cooler (mocal plate) which is long and thim with the pipes coming out each end so im hoping it will go in front of the rad or if not somwhere in the bumper for cooler air (like 4" lower will make a difference!) ill post pics when all done funny though this corrado never runs that hot 110 oil max my old one ran vry hot 130+ some days but i suppose ive not had this one over summer yet?!
  9. well done a lovely looking c i may be in the market for a vr soon really cant make my mind up!!
  10. So ive lost the locking wheel bolt key as you may know or not, anyway i took it down to bedford budget tyres Bally might know them. The guy seemed happy he could get them off so he gets out a socket and a bloody great lump hammer to hammer said socket onto the wheel bolt. after a few hits he gives it a big whack and forgets to move his thumb crunch lots of shouting lots of blood it was truly horrific!! he smashed his thumb real bad i still feel sick now  . Wasnt a completely bad day however went to halfords and found they do a locking wheel nut removal set that is only a tenner! which is very worrying made by laser its like an impact socket with a reverse thread inside so any theiving chavage (as per 'age' trend on the forum!') can whip yer locking bolts of easy as pie!! great :( but it does mean i can get me leaking avos off :D
  11. ive got the inpros which were more than fk's but fit is awful and they staem up all the time are fks better is it essential to cut the wires on these? also whats the consensus on the fk angel eyes any way to change them to rhd?
  12. Any tip on fitting a mocal oil coiler to a g60 ive got the water pipes from the mk1 and the spigot from g-werks which is slightly cut down from std i think, it looks pretty straight foward tbh but doesnt every c related job!

  15. Apart from Bahn Brenner where can i pick one of these up from? Cheers Dudes!
  16. but i thought one of the main benifits is to not put back all the misty sludgy oil into the charger and route the breather to a catch tank thats what ive got g-werks do custom catchtanks.
  17. fitted my new gwerks catch tank very cool in 'raw' aluminium looks very motorsport, tomorrow i will mostly be removing my front shocks for refurb!
  18. yup i took a body shop to the small claims court got all my money back and lawyers costs, i was promised a bently job on my golf but got a fso job! they didnt like it but hey if a paint job isnt up to scratch you just dont take it! and yeah if the jobs gonna be a good one £900 is a good price i need a mate in the trade so i can get a good job done on mine after the golf fiasco im not looking foward to getting the corrado done.
