must be very clever hoses! my k plate had it my j plate doesnt tbh it was rubbish on the k plater too harsh and the wheels still locked up it was working fine just didnt work very well!

cool i take it the rear calipers are self adjusting you dont have to wind them onto the disk then back them off a bit? had to do this on my mx5.

right so ive got new rear disks new bearings new mk4 calipers pagid mk3 pads but i need new h'brake cables as well as i discovered when i started the strip down :( . Any tips for replacing handbrake cables i've just ordered a pair from gsf are there any other bits i might need when changing them want to have every avenue covered!! ive got the bolts that hold the rear calipers on off the mk 4 as they are virtually new i taki it they are the same?

yeah kev i got the ones off ebay when i sound deadened the doors i noticed it still clanged a a bit, so i traced it to the little plastic sleeves like you say are mullered after 100k+ look nice nickel plated instead of chrome so wont look chipped and nasty after a while!

it seems that way i sold my 92 g60 3 years ago for £2600, it had leather recaros (electric) and was in very nice condition. Now 3 years later i brought a g60 for £200 more with no recaros although it does have std leather, some of the vr6 prices are skyhigh but are these cars actually selling?

just drill holes below the filter ie the bit before the filter or cut big holes but you should be able to get an induction kit as its digifant k-jet is what they used on the mk1 golf till the mk2 in 88 then changed to electronic fuel injection (k-jet was mechanical)

kevs spot on their i had an alarm fitted to my old g60 then vw had to sort the mess out cost £800! but i got a whole new loom fitted as they footed the bill, (rogue alarm company) i then had a cobra fitted, which was brilliant. My current c has a clifford which has been installed very well and is equally as good never given any problems.

just go to an international logistics company like ups or parceline it wont be as much as you think im sure i shipped a pair of motor bike wheels to america for about £75. Bill

my g60 has a flat spot when floored :( i say its occaisional but more often than not it does it. If i ease off a bit its ok but still doesn't pick up as quickly as it should. i replaced the blue temp sender (VAG) a while ago to cure bad cold starting which it did but now the problem is creeping back. :?: Do you think it could be a duff vag sender this would be rare would the lambda cause any of these problems? ialso had a rough running problem a while ago when it was running on 3 when it was damp that has fixed itself?? worth mentioning as well. :?
