Black VR6 - Rotrex - Mapping Update on Pg 20
StormchargedVR6 replied to B5VWC's topic in Members Gallery
LOL, 3" has been around for donkeys  Not really relevant for a crank driven turbo though. 2.5" is more than adequate. First post alert! 3" will make power over 2.5". I had a rotrex'd 2ltr(not vw) that made 345whp and my 2.5" system was 20hp down on someone with the same setup. Nice corrado, what fuel pump are you using? Sorry if it's been stated but have skimmed the thread rather than digested it to the full :) Bet it was hell of lot of booming in the car with 3'' system with a Charger, you will getaway with 3'' on a turbo not a supercharger. -
Looking at twin turbo :D

Battery - which is best (regardless of cost)?
StormchargedVR6 replied to _leon_'s topic in Engine Bay
Thanks fella. 5 days... Hmmm might have to contact them and ask for some advice on that then. They've got a specific holder now - to replace the universal one - which I think is whats pictured? I had the same battery has you got, and updated to this one. 1380 pulse cranking amps, 550 cold start .check out the specs. -

Shaun - did you buy from Braille direct? How much reserve would you say the B3121 has - e.g. can the car be left for 10 days without going flat - and crank up perfectly fine? Do you also know if the Schimmel battery holder is fine with the B3121 too - as it seems to be slightly larger? Yes mate, bought from braille direct. Longest i've left mine is 5 days , mines in the garage with a Battery conditioner on it :) The Sp holder is no good, you get a rubber clamp off the Braille site, there cheap DSCF0260.JPG[/attachment:2zervbwv] -

Layering wax will give you better depth to the paint, gives it a wetter look and really brings out the pearl 8) You can put 2 layers of hard wax and 1 layer of soft, but got to leave it 24 hours between coats.

Just used the Dodo juice for the first time, this is Awesome stuff 8) Bought the Lime Prime pre wax cleaner , Blue Velvet Hard Wax , Purple Haze soft wax. Lime primed the hole car, which took me a morning. Then used the Blue velvet hard wax , left it 24 hours then its time for the Purple haze soft wax. This really gives it a real Wet Look :D Used a good few waxs in my time but this is very good stuff. Great move andy, looks meaner :D -
Its always in state of development  , its getting there

Good choice, but has the car been corner-weighted and setup by professionals to get the most use out of your suspension? It has been set by professionals, JKM in portsmouth done it. Not worth corner weighting a car with a solid rear beam

Cheers for all the nice comments guys :) MK1campaign sorry can't make it , but will be at Stealth Rolling Road Day
