No, in my stupidity of thinking it was meant to butt up against the bulk head I assumed the problem was the shape of the corrado bulk head so I chopped the plastic ipe down a bit  balls again. not to worry I will sort something out. I think I will take the Fifth on that question ;) -

yeah still doing the 4wd mate. only its going to be a bit more 'custom' on this one. One thing I meant to ask you, I take it there is an drain pipe that comes off somewhere on these climatronic boxes? I cant seem to find it, I have a little motor with some soft ruber tubing hanging off it but I am not sure what it is or where it goes. Any ideas? -

hoi stop hogging my thread! mind you, its ok as no-one else seems remotely interested in my car! anyways the aircon pipes on mine exit just above the abs unit, it wouldbe tight but it would go I think. -

ok took a day off work and did a bit graft on the car. The r32 engine is now nesting nicely in its new home -
custom shafts are not 600 quid either. I had 2 driveshafts made up to a rally spec and they were nowhere near that. That is just the shafts btw, I used the mk4 CVs which are big and chunky.
-
its about 6 to 8 bolts all in all, very very simple
-
I knew that gimp
-
cue me to get my idle backside into gear and sort it out! I have taken a day off work today to fit the r32 engine, so progress is being made on mine...
