I went to view a Corrado today, which I am considering buying. One of the things I didnt like about the car was that it had manual windows and I was wondering how big a job it would be to change to leccy? I realise that the door cards will need replacing, but what else would be involved and how hard would it be to source the parts? Cheers for any help

Exactly the reason why I apologised at the start of the thread, I realise it's not all women, but it just makes me laugh how completely stupid some women can be when it comes to cars.... namely my mum :lol:

Just had a classic conversation with my mum....... She has a diesel Golf and had left the interior light on over the weekend and obviously the battery went flat. So she called me tonight and asked "will your petrol car be able to jump start my diesel car?" She obviously doesn't realise what a battery in a car is for :roll: Anyone else had conversations with women and then wonder why they don't get our "women drivers :roll: " attitude? Sorry to Scarlett, Dubby, Blackcat and any other women on the forum, but it's comments like these that tar you all with that brush :lol:

Always good to have a car of this age serviced as soon as you get it just for peace of mind.

Could be a possible build up of oil in the intercooler, check around the intercooler to see if there is any sign of oil blowing into the engine bay. If there is you probably need to flush it out with petrol.
