I actually think we're doing alright at the moment. Theres defo been some quiet patches, but a couple of days back there were loads of new threads! Last nights downtime was slightly frustrating - more so that the twitter feed isnt being used very much when there is downtime now! On the subject of ccgb membership and clubstand invitation, i had a conversation with Cazza at a recent meet regarding allocation of space. My view is instead of a hard and fast rule that you must be a member to take a space, a more relaxed approach of members first, reserve list for non members would see places filled. The non members can then be bullied/shamed into joining once they get there :lol:

good work, what did you pay for them? do you know widths etc? are you having them properly split etc for refurb? where are they going?

theres a bit of a difference between fitting some late fogs which go straight in and changing the whole front end though! Plus you have to do the rear bumper too or the lines wont match! :lol:

The quick answer is search for engine and gearbox not motor and transmission mounts! :lol: As this is a mostly uk forum we use different words!! So there are three mounts to replace, most common answer as to whats 'best' is standard rear, mk2 golf diesel gearbox [transmission] and vibratechnics front. [althought this could be standard if its already done.. I'm not saying it doesnt look very bad from reading through the OP's post. I messaged Matt this morning and receiving a reason of 'crazy overtime and family issues' as to why they havent yet been sent out. It takes seconds to reply to a message, regardless of how busy you are, or what else is going on, especially when you owe someone something. There is a big difference between being a scammer and being very badly organised though, hence why I [not Matt] requested his details be taken down until he's given a chance to respond to the kick up the ass i've given him this morning to sort it. I must admit I'm very surprised at reading this. I swapped wheels with him, met at services and all was good. I them saw him the next day at Players, had a chat and he was talking about plans for the car. He in no way came across as the type to deliberately screw someone over. I hope there's an answer, I must admit it doesn't look good, but I know he had good transactions with others on here too. its probably what its worth, and he seems to be a breaker judging by the amount of parts he has. I only really need a bockbox for mine and a guy local to me can make a new custom backbox, with OEM style tip for about £150-£180 so i'm gonna go with that. original parts are available afaik, but not a cheap option from memory!

hmm.. etka doesnt list anything other than the ones on that link, so they are possibly a dealer fit wheel or not an oem wheel at all.. without a picture its impossible to say, the description is still pretty vague, theyre just too may variables.
