  1. no, its really not that bad at all.. if you're trying to do the whole thing with spanners it might be a challenge but if you have a socket set its fine. It makes fitting stereo wiring much easier too! I literally striped everything interior wise out of my new one when I first got it, I think that took me less than a day. ---------- Post added at 05:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:29 PM ---------- Oh.. and i didnt label ANYTHING! that just takes longer! :bonk:
  2. i ot really confused seeing Dinkus's name pop up - hadnt realised the age of the thread till then!
  3. no chance. see if you can get 7&8's or 8's all round.
  4. It's an easy but long job imo.. in theory you could do the lot in a day but if you allow a weekend it'll take the stress away. yep, the 2 bolts you get to from the engine bay are a bit fiddly, but it is just a case of going slowly and trying not to break anything! you'll be fine bud, if i can do it im sure you can. Baz
  5. do you have any of the standard parts? there may be a bigger market for a standard car now..
  6. so are you looking to trade it against something or straight sell? Figures will be even worse if you're straight selling..
  7. all depends on the trader and what you're buying.. some will look on autotrader and see what similar cars are selling for, find the cheapest and offer about £800 less than that, others will offer a small gesture just seeing it as an old car. I cant see your car advertised on here and your link to your ebay ad shows it as removed? I can assure you though that no garage will offer you £1800.
  8. indeed.. if you were paying someone to do the install for you it would also save a hell of a lot of hours. i still dont think its at the point where it's worth breaking if you were to sell though - unlike Corrados..
  9. i wouldnt say its rare rare, but not as common as blue/red/black.. silver and grey do suit the rado really well though, so i'd keep it.
  10. ive got a few knocking about but cant remember what! I'll have a look tomorrow - where in bristol are you?
  11. The only place I consistently hear good reviews about is JB Auto's in Longwell Green. Apparently they are expensive, however that's not necessarily a bad thing if you're getting what you pay for. If you only wanted bits done, panel repairs, front end etc then I've used a guy whoo can do saturday jobs at his work - couldnt squeeze a whole respray in though! Baz
  12. Nah.. Although I do think OSV had everything nailed when it comes to the perfect OEM+ Rado they're still not for me. And I say that with a set sat next to the car in my garage. :smug: There are a number of wheels which just look perfect on the Corrado and the majority are 17" splits..
  13. that whole interior shot looks bloody lovely. such a nice car..
  14. would love a set of eta betas.. one of the best wheels on anything!
  15. welcome! why swap for a VR though? supercharging?
  16. hmm.. i have that week off work.. if I still have the rado then im game.
  17. same dilemma here - although i'd forgotten all about it!
  18. i hate the brocks.. personally opinion, but they do nothing for me. having said that, having run two sets of 9" rears im not a fan of them now either! Too much scrubbing!
  19. have a look here for an idea.. massively different wheel diameter though.. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
