  1. bargain..and local to me.. I think i'll go for it! Only joking bud.. never been a huge fan of RCs..
  2. i love that corrado estate. one came up for sale a few years ago, for not huge amounts of money. I didnt go for it at the time and have regretted it since.. If one comes up again - i think there may have been about 5? i'd be all over it.
  3. That looks great.. I really like those rotas.
  4. Emu.. You still doing plastics? Are you using gliptone leather stuff for them or a specific plastic paint? I have a moonroof slider I need making beige.. Baz
  5. Okay so here's an update.. I've still got the van and have been driving it the past couple of weeks.. It's actually really nice around town, and as others have mentioned, very car like - especially with the recaros - its like being back on my old G60 recaros! However, for what I need it's just not the right vehicle.. I do need something big, but I think an estate is the way forward. It's gonna have to go up for sale, but what would it be worth? here's a rundown of spec I know about.. It is: VW T4 Transporter 1995 N Reg 2.4 diesel 251k Miles MOT end Feb 12 Tax end Feb 12 Some service history, cambelt was changed approx 10k Miles ago. It was painted a few years back in Golf R32 Blue Recaro seats from an Alfa Romeo 156 Stainless Steel Twin Exhaust Carpeted rear panelling Passat V6 Alloys Now - The options are, do I sell it at a lower price or tax and MOT and ask better money? The paint isn't brilliant, the van looks great until you get close where some rust bubbling on the arches and signs of paint/lacquer peel become apparent. So.. What's it Worth?!?.. Oh and please don't think it wont get a wash before I take photos for the sale ad! Many thanks Baz
  6. bloody hell kev.. i have no idea what youve just posted. I like the shiny cover though.
  7. there are quite a few around bristol.. saw one before christmas that i didnt know.. very rare these days though.
  8. worth waiting on an early bumper - to be honest i didnt know late spec cars came in tornado red - i thought they were all flash red.. you'll also have to change fogs and indicators if you go late spec.
  9. it needs to sit a bit lower or have a 90mm splitter at least imo..
  10. I thought it was going to be this:
  11. Jack Whitehall.. I quite liked fresh meat although I HATE the inbetweeners. I mostly watch panel shows now; 8 of of 10 cats, Celeb Juice, A league of their own and QI when I need more mental stimulation. I was a big fan of Frank Skinner, but haven't been able to get into opinionated. I'm trying to remember the last good Sitcom I watched and I'm struggling..
  12. i think the standard of british comedy currently is very high.. theres some great talent about. however i think the only 'older' comedian whos stood the test of time for me is billy connelly.. im going to see him next month and cant wait.
  13. interior sold today, I have taken in a set of Rotiform BLQ's, 17x8 in 4x100.. Lovely wheels but I'm 5x100 now.. these will either sell quickly or i'll be going back to 4x100! Baz
  14. Ive had a few decent watches in my time, used to manage a jewellers and my stepdad is a high end watch repairer. I sold everything when I bought the house though - it was watches or rado at the time and the watches lost. Kept the Autavia though - nice to still have one in the drawer.. Note - they're all Heuers.. Pre TAG. Current: Previous:
  15. yeah yeah.. but why does everyone have to forget about the Corrado Database :(
  16. interesting.. do you happen to have a pic of the door open so you can see the interior and wheels together? ive been looking for a good paint colour match to the beiege leather but cant find one!
  17. Thats a lovely watch, Raymond Weil are very understated and they have very nice quality automatic movements. Good luck with the sale. ---------- Post added at 06:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:27 PM ---------- Oh and RS's for £750!:suprised:
  18. i'd rather see a well written advert with a guide borrowed from someone else then half the crap that gets put on there! also.. it means you get a free link to your advert in this section too, i'd be very happy with the net result! I do like his bulletpointing though and also the use of an email address for the ad rather than his personal one. i think we can all learn from each other :thathomosmily:
  19. G60s S2s Willwood/hi spec All depends what you wanna pay.. G60s should do the job, s2s a bit more and others if youre track daying..
  20. he bought it round this evening as he's leaving for Spain in the morning on a 2 year contract. Instead of test driving it we had a few last day ciders instead  He's left it with me to either buy from him or sell on his behalf if I dont want it.. Its got 18" BBS RK2's and Alfa Recaros too so pretty nice. The back is just plain carpeted.. no bed, but i'd just airbed i think if i keep it. I'm off to browse vwt4forum.co.uk for interior ideas!
  21. haha.. i might get one with a rado on and one with my wife on.. at the end of the year i can see which one i spend most on!
  22. haha.. good work.. i was just getting impacient! hmm.. painfully slow, i dont like that :( as long as the price sounds right though its sounding okay..
  23. A mates selling his T4 as he's moving away, Ive been tempted to buy a cheap van for weekends away etc and was wondering if anyone knows about the 2.4 engine.. It's donen 250k miles, so I don't know if i should be worried.. its had a cambelt 10k ago though so just turbo to worry about? Its a 95 N with tax and mot till end feb.. should I be paying around £1500?? Cheers Baz
