1. Seen the ebay one, yeah the price is crazy.. Mj interiors apparently keep stock of some cloth, could be worth a call..
2. What an end to a week.. Decided last weekend to drag the car out of the garage so I could come tomorrow.. I had loads I needed to get sorted so it was gonna be a busy week. It flew through an mot on Monday and was booked in to have some electrical work done. The fans hadnt been kicking in and the alarm was playing up among other things. I was supposed to get it back last night but it wasn't ready. I went back this morning and there's more issues than when I started! I've spend the day putting interior back together and just went out for a decent drive to get right up to temp. Pulled in outside a pub to check on the fans and the cars overheated.. No fans no nothing. I'm now sat in the pub giving the car a chance to cool down before it goes back to the garage.. Not a happy boy. Have a great time tomorrow.. I'll be on the sofa watching the GP :(
3. Haha.. Genius. Defo have to pay up for that!
4. Will be trying to get to cheivley for the convoy.. Can someone pm me a contact number - I can then let you know in the am if I'll be there. Cheer then Baz
5. id say youll pay asking price if he can provide an mot failure sheet. at least you know what extra youll need to shell out for..

7. I'm gonna be very last minute about what i do so wouldnt want you to go out your way to arrange something.. At the moment ive got three potential routes - M5, A429 or A34. I also have a car thats not yet ready, so i have to wait until friday to know i can defo come at all. I then have a slight issue on saturday night with a mate who's back from france for a one nighter - if that goes messy i could be VERY late! I desperately want to come, but odds are stacking against me. Will keep you posted! Cheers Baz

11. The whole cars gone to a mate bud.. Can ask if he'd sell them, they need tyres and a refurb. What would you want to pay?

13. Whilst I was waiting for the AA to arrive I remembered I had my camera in the boot. No tripod unfortunatly so was a little restricted, but thought i'd waste my time taking some snaps.. Here is the 'dead rado project'
14. Welllll.. this was a short thread.. Since the first update I had: Fitted replacement door pods and replaced the missing dash speaker covers. Re wired the stereo and fitted a new headunit with ipod connector in the cubby hole. Sourced a replacement parcel shelf and boot carpet - thanks beastie4126 Then the head started making some weird noises. I narrowed it down to the cam to cam chain. As the MOT was due in a month I thought I'd book the car in first and see if it failed on anything else before spending out money on a cam chain and belt. On Saturday I took the car out to get some petrol and pump up the tyres ready for MOT. I'd just filled up and the engine started making some different funny noises whilst going down the road. As I went to pull away at a junction the gearbox died :( I pulled over and called the AA whilst taking a look around the bay. One of the linkages had snapped, but upon AA inspection it looks like this has been caused by internal damage within the gearbox. I had the car recovered to a mechanic friends house to see if there's anything we can do with it or if we should get under way with breaking. Luckily, he has a spare engine and I have a spare gearbox so everything can be fixed, although it's not financially worth me staying involved with. We discussed cash and he's now bought it from me. I've bought myself a complete heap of a daily - Pug 106 diesel - to keep me going for now. However, I finally have some money burning a hole from the sale of the Rado and my wheels ready to spend on my other Corrado - there will be a build thread soon!!!
15. woo hoo.. futuras gone.. at this rate my car might be back on the road!
16. i have a late bonnet and could order you front disks, but shipping will be an absolute fortune! would it not be cheaper for you to look in america where parts are cheaper and shipping distance is lower? willing to help in anyway i can and appreciate it would be hard for you there, but seems that uk would be a bad option!
17. So what are your personal experiences of the company? I don't see how you have any right to slate them unless you have had bad experiences yourself? And why bother, the company has gone now anyway so you're just making yourself seem like that stupid little c**t who puts the boot in once a fight has finished then looks at their friends all smug..
18. I don't think your repetitive snide remarks and sly digs will help teach anyone anything.
19. good work, only 2½ years between joining and your first post too! welcome to the forum!
