  1. Got loads mate, You in a hurry?
  2. Or just buy another handle off me!!! Can be complete bitchs to reassemble, don't even think about removing the spindle that holds the striker, done a few but they never feel right afterwards.
  3. Hmm.. Hows about a 2.9 short block with only 19.000km's on it? Gotta be cheaper than 3 fukin grand..
  4. I was gonna do the Vauxhall meriva cdti disc mod too, still got the brand new discs boxed.. Same diameter disc but much bigger surface area compared to the corrado's disc and no overlapping of the pad/disc. Yeah, Def. get that quote Mark as the engine is just sitting there doing nowt.
  5. Well I did manage to unearth the only one I had, only problem being that the bloody thing is damaged too.. The little metal finger that opens the second butterfly is missing. I've also got one off a 9A valver engine but it looks different. Sorry mate.
  6. Don't tempt me mate..! Chris will sort you out no problem, that really is a great offer from a great seller.
  7. Oi, what happened to the crankshaft?? Back to the question, I was gonna fit a set but then bagged a set of 4 pot Brembos so I'm selling them off. They didn't clear my 15" BBS RM rims., they didn't touch much but just fouled the balance weight that was on the inside of the rim. I was gonna use a set of Fiat 5mm spacers that would have been sufficient to clear the glued on weight. Remember also that the pad will overlap the original g60 disk so in effect, you loose a small portion of the pad that over laps. You'll also need a washer to center the caliper to disk. Take also into account that they are heavy boat anchors compared to aluminum versions. Hope that helps a little. Have a look also on Dubsport, there was a great write up on a guy fitted a set onto his track day Vw golf, lots of photos to see too.
  8. I've got loads of bits mate, gearboxs, pedal box, gear change cables, gear stick+housing, clutchs, flywheels...... Let me know if you need a complete kit made up. Cheers-Andrew.
  9. Little hard to tell from the photo Andrew, it looks like your gonna be needing the actual throttle actuator, the bit that the cable clips into and not the retaining clip itself. I've probably got a spare one, later on I'll check and let you know mate.
  10. This prat knows fuk all about these cars.. "Engine probably been rebuilt, maybe twice" frightned it might break.. Blb fukkin bla.. Total crap review written by a complete, clueless tosser.
  11. And change the crap, old and brittle wiring from the starter/alternator to positive on battery if you can. Did mine yonks ago and gained a little volt wise, also changing the main earth lead helps a lot too, as does changing the battery terminals. 20+ year old materials that now have quite high resistenze compared to newer, more modern wiring materials.
  12. Hi Andrew, There should have been a metal clip holding the throttle cable's 'trumpet' bit onto the throttle disc. Get me a photo of your throttle body and if it's that missing I'll send you a spare as I've got a few.. Whilst your there, remove the idle screw and wrap a few turns of PTFE plumbers tape around the screw's thread, they have a nasty habit of coming loose and falling out.. Revs shoot up high with a weird whistling noise..
  13. Whilst Your in there, chance the fuel filter For starters then check that the air funnel isn't getting jammed because of gum and muck around the edge of the inlet funnel. Try checking the actual fuel pressure too, the injection system fitted to the KR 1800 and 2.0 9A 16v engines rely heavily on correct fuel pressure. Obviously, diagnosing a car over the net ain't easy..
  14. Welcome aboard mate. Which reminds me, i've got a set of injectors with fuel rail, fpr that have only 19.000km on them.. Quite a few other bits too, just in case.. Cheers-Andrew.
  15. Both fit no problem Rob, d'un it loads of Times.. You Will have to match the Outer plastic surrounds though, they are different. The facelift, later types are deeper than the '89/'90 versions.
  16. That I know of, only the B3 Passat g60 version. I've got a spare, I'm based in Rome, Italy mate, a little closer to you than the UK.
  17. All done mate, £90 sent 2 mins. ago, check your account. Cheers-Andrew.
  18. ..Cheeky bugger mode on.. Do it for £50?+the obvious postage..
  19. KIP, Any chance of getting me a postage quote to post the shelf Here to Rome, Italy? Post code: 00152. Cheers
  20. I'm in Rome, Italy so whatever you may need, let me Know.
  21. Back in the day, I had a black mk2 16v golf that had that exact same problem, it was a dodgy Hall sender in the distributer, still wasn't happy with it though so I turboed it, along with fitting the Weber injection too. All depends on your level of skill mate, you'll need the obvious complete wiring loom of any old Lancia delta hf turbo or integrale, even the loom fitted to the Fiat tempra 1.6 would do, Fiat croma etc. The ecu, injectors, FPR, sensors etc.. the distributer has an identical cut out so it bolts up to the golf 16v head no problem. If you want, I could send you a few photos.
  22. Weber/IAW as fitted to many '90's preformance cars. I've done it a few times on turboed 'raddos, cheap and perfectly adequate.
