520 euros is about what we have to pay for a VR6 rack here.

Was that Volksline by any chance? They're a decent lot in there, but i'm scared of going in cos everytime i do there's always something that needs fixing!
  4. Took this a few minutes ago with my phone - don't have a digital camera unfortunately. Obviously the dopey look is, err, fully intended.
  5. 26 years old, 27 is creeping up too quick! A glorious blue 2 litre 1985 Montego HL was my first car - not an obvious choice. Then i had a 2.0i Sierra Sapphire Ghia, followed by a 96 Fiesta 16v, a Mk3 Golf GTi (which i sold to my dad, luckily nothings gone wrong with it yet!) And onto the Vr6 which i drove to Norwich to buy in Jan last year.
  6. Anyone know if the BBS solitude wheels off a Mk3 golf VR6 are identical spec to the Storm ones? Thanks
  7. White Rado in Canterbury today on New Dover Road. Had filler patch on driver's side rear quarter - good luck with the respray!
  8. Hi and welcome to the forum - have a look at this, it's the buying guide: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5124
  9. That horrible, harsh snap haunts my dreams... :)
  10. Yep, just prise off the cover panel gently and undo the 4 screws in the corner. Worth greasing up the cogs whilst you're there.
  11. Is it difficult to get a decent finish - anyone tried it? Or can it end up just looking cheap and nasty?
  12. Will have to put him up here myself soon if my item doesn't turn up prompto.
  13. Great looking car - like the front grille especially. Nice carpark too.
  14. sweet - top quality finish by the look of it
  15. Mine's got an induction kit, and whilst not being the most refined noise it does give a great 'bark' when you boot the throttle! Supercharger would be the way i'd go if i had a spare few bob.
  16. One of the previous owners of my VR6 was (and probably still is) of the female persuasion - she owned it for quite a few years. Not sure if she's a milf though?
  17. What's 007 got to do with anything?
  18. Cheers chaps - was def a Gatso. Don't seem to get to many of those nasty forward-facing one's round here.
  19. Anyone know if Gatso's can catch you if you're going the opposite direction to which they're pointed? There was one pointing down a hill and i went up the hill at 35ish and it flashed, but there was no-one else around. Are they designed to work both ways when there's only one camera? Cheers.
  20. Cheers Kev, I had a go at this today and there is a noticable improvement to the steering feel - less vibration of the wheel over bumps mainly. 6 of the 7 nuts were 'loose'. You're not sh*ting about the grunting though, it's a kind of involuntary grunt whilst trying to avoid poking yourself in the eye with the clutch pedal and contorting your arms to get enough leverage to turn the nuts 8) Couldn't locate the bolt/nut described above tho - gave up in the end before my back popped out!
  21. Dark (probably blue) VR6 in Dymchurch, going towards Hythe (Kent) friday lunchtime M*** PKP. Exchanged knowing, smug looks.
  22. That's odd, this bloke took a while to answer the question about the part number on them. When he replied he said he'd been in a motorbike accident and been recovering hence the lack of reply. Maybe it's just a co-incidence? Although i wouldn't have thought there'd be too many people selling Corrado heater controls on Ebay.
  23. Is that 10% too slow or 10% too fast
  24. Currently in my 'changer are: Jet, Basement Jaxx, Kelis, Therapy?, Orbital, Fugees, Sex Pistols, Mercury Rev, Gomez and Outkast. Hmm, not sure what that says about my tastes. Varied? Confused, maybe!
