as you may have worked out by now mate im not the worlds leading authority on the 16v engine (( or indeed any other ))...might be best for you to wait till someone who knows the engine pops along.... id like to know what the bit ive circled in my pic is too! :oops: EDIT--heres a pic of the 20. 16v so someone can violate it. :wink: EDIT"-- sorry..cant find any unmol;ested pics of a 16v engine...all mine have stupid qusetion marks on them :oops:

tohse were genuine questions mate.. :D ...i wasnt being facecous...ive changed the BTS on my 8v and g60 and its sorted me right out...so i assumed that the bit in my pic was a BTS on the 16v... is the bit in the pic a fan switch? also im confused as to how you went ionto a partsshop and asked for a BTS for a 2.0 16v raddo and they gave you that part? :?

ive got a lupo rear wiper but id rather just be rid of the thing.... by the by...ive got lupo wiper arms and blades and am most unimpressed and dissapointed with them to be honest. :( ...they miss a big patch..like the old ones did.....and appear to push the water around on my side...which the old ones did... im not sure if i need a new mech?

what did you ask for then when they gave you that part mate??? and what is the part in the pic?

got some badboy " locktight" rearview mirror glue from hellfrauds.....good stuff too....£4 and it stuck my mirror on in one piece in a minute...didnt have to worry about seperating the circular metal doodar from the clips, the glue is strong enough!.

not sure mate..but i do know it made a hell of a difference when i changed mine....i think they're about £6-£7 and a 2 minute job so its worth trying it. i think it might be that the engine is'nt being put into cold start mode....hence rough running when cold untill it warms up??? :? ..im sure someone will enlighten me.

pmsl....i gave up on trying to " insist " on ANYTHING years ago mate!. :lol: it was more of a pring than a prang...due to the fact that the cars too low, she nudged a curb whilst parking and its sorta pushed the bumper so it doesnt sit perfectly....ive got another one so i can have it painted and ready for when ive changed the suspension (( and my g/f's got a bit more experience)) ...the bumpers had alot of stress put on it due to the grounding out to often so needs changing anyway...she just made it more obvious. :roll:

shirly parts of this thread could do with being glued to the thread in Genrall chat...(( or suppliers :wink: )) :D

just speak as i find mate...im well impressed....i had to use them 3 times while i was with them (( im now with a different insurer and am yet to find out which breakdown service they are with )) and each time they were spot on. :thumb right:
