yes...unless your car is pre 93 i think....like mine is :D ....the main problem is the MOT mate...you wont pass without a cat in a 94 car....although if you do decide to put the cat amongst the pigeons and let the cat outta the bag so to speak...make sure you keep the CAT and swap it over before MOT time!.

i agree with what you're saying mate....and the forum has a pm facility :wink: .....im just pointing out the fact that there are other "specialists" that people on here recomend to others, that i have seen terrible workmanship from.....sometimes its best to bite your tounge though....there's two sides to every story an all that... :D

carefull tho guys....ive heard alot of bad things about other specialists that get recomended on here....people can get arsey about stuff like this.... :roll: ....im not trying to get the old " freedom of speech " argument going here...but if we arent allowed to post bad experiences about 1 company..then we shouldnt be allowed to with all companies shirly?..thats only fair.

best to take it to a local exhaust plae to get it up on the ramps and see whats going on.

yeah....id say it would be worth around that mark....but if he broke it he might get £800 ish (( engine ,pannels,interior etc. ))

aye...there could be a crack in the exhaust somewhere mate...to much air causes popping.

i dont mean to offend mate...but the answer to that on my opinion is....not alot really.. :( it doesnt sound like it has much going for it..bad paintwork,no charger,no SH, LHD, accident damage, no central locking,lardy ladry lah..... obviously you need to find someone who wants a project car..an enthusiast....i hate to say it but it would be worth more if you sold it in bits...the engine has low mileage.

4 bolts hold the front bumper on if i remember correctly mate.....cant see why yours would be sitting low?...perhaps try tightenng the bolts?

the light flashes when the coolant level is low.....first thing to check is that.....if the coolant is low check for leaks... if the fans coming on then that rules out the fan temp sender, hate to say it but this sounds exactly what happened to me a couple of months ago..turned out to be a head gasket :(
