  1. nope not sad at all :D .......something that is sorely missed in the die-cast model world is a good quality Corrado model......there is talk of minichamps doing a 1:43 scale Corrado in the next couple of years too
  2. Bill Aitken's VR6 or Skid'sG60 but i think he's waiting on a MOT this week
  3. love to know where autocar got their pricing tho...........48k mile VR6 for £4950  ........more like easy £1k more
  4. i know that Star-performance are an agent for Koni......might be worth giving them a try
  5. A/C and leather have always been optional extras AFAIK
  6. or same engine but not as desirable........Metro 1.4D /Rover 115D.........had one as a second car(pre C days) for 6months+ 50mpg round town and PSA group mechanicals
  7. woo-hoo :D .......got mine friday post............and i must say jezza.........tis a good one 8)
  8. milltek or magnex richard!.........................magnex for IMO the better look/fit and finish..........but the milltek ain't bad either.........if i'd seen a magnex 1st i would probably have that on mine rather than the milltek
  9. its of a "dodgy" history'ied(more miles than showing and slightly older than advertised) K-plate VR6 in blue or black with sexy black leather recaro's too...............i think someone on the forum also knows the guy that went to view it on the programme. and they use a quite tidy "minted" green storm to show what to look for.........its quite a decent write-up on the C and both the presenters(mike brewer and the thin posh dude) like them
  10. LOL.....don't worry m8.........like i said probably talking out my arse   ...........tbh i think i was getting confused with carbon build up on exhuasts
  11. ah but isn't some(as in not a lot) coke/carbon build up actually beneficial to the "flowing".....if you know what i mean :?
  12. might be speaking out of my arse here  ..............but.............does the head not need to get a bit of "coking-up" to start get some noticable increases  .........
  13. IIRC the heated seat pads cost approx £50ea+vat
  14. well its not that far removed(differnt nose and tail treatment) from the mk1 or mk2 Cortina......in fact IIRC........it was the more sporty/executive version of the Cortina methinks you should start buying some classic car mags and see what ur missing
  15. and the old saying too is "Old fords never die......they just get faster"

  17. u have checked it out?......it should genuinely have a V4 engine in it especially if its a 1.7
  18. general chat for this  .....afterall if you have a buyer you don't need to advertise it in the parts for sale section

  20. the cat and the pigeon ones i assume  ........they've been on the go for easy a year........just not for public consumption AFAIK
  21. some decent ones ive seen in the Aberdeen area have been............ CL10.................surprisngly enough this is on a newish model Clio(believed to originally have been won in a competition 10+yrs ago..........a 16v Clio and CL10 number plate) LOG 1K............last seen it on a Discovery 1NK.................last seen on a Land-Cruiser and is seemingly owned by a guy who's got his own Printing firm EAT 11T.........used to be on a Lotus Carlton now on a Skyline R33 i think and as ive mentioned before my bro in law has W4 STE..........on his Range-Rover cool plate for him being in the Waste Disposal Business i must admit
  22. don't worry........the "i" just refers to injection...............but the SLC(2.8 AAA-VR6-178bhp) which is what you'll have over in the states will be a little bit less powerful than the VR6(2.9 ABV-VR6-190bhp) that we have here for a start.........
  23. A2 GON cost me £8k about 10 years ago........................was on a 944 turbo tho so that was thrown in too :D................seriously bought the car cos i wanted a 944 turbo......the number plate means sweet FA just looks not bad on a fast-ish car IMHO.....so was a bonus
