as kvwloon says that sort of budget will get you a very very nice valver and a decent enough G60 :wink: .....as for a VR....forget it unless you have another £1k in reserve in case it needs some work :roll:

pretty sure its just over 5litres (including filter change)......it should tell you the capacities in the owner's manual :wink:

in fact hold the press!!............just remembered the koni t/a kit that grim sold martay with the golf VR was for a corrado VR :wink: .....now there was some minor work needed to get them to fit but fit they did! :wink:

they shocks will more than likely be identical.........tbh i reckon yer mate with the golf might be as well buying a new set of lowering springs specifically for his car and use them in conjnction with yer shocks

AFAIK the coil-overs will fit both the mk3 GTi/16v/VR's no problem and also fit the C VR with no problem....BUT 99.9% sure you need the specific koni T/A kit for the Golf and Vice/versa the C VR

there is MEANT to be holes! :wink: ....the corrado badge has little pegs that go into the holes to keep it in position :wink:

i can give you contact details of an Excellent sprayer who also doesn't charge the earth.......the only minus is........he does it in his own time so if you can do with out yer C for a couple of weeks and be patient with him....then he's yer man :wink:

btw Kev the yellow C buying guide can be 2 guides.........there was one by Autocar in jan98 and one by used car buyer about 1999-ish both used a nugget yellow 16v as their main feature car
