probably a "plain" E-30 M3....if you could call such a beast plain that is...........IIRC going rate for the E-30 Sport-EVO's is £12k+
-
you can get the manual from amazon or VW books.....but be warned its well over £60............or you could try e-bay for copies of manual (on CD)as i hear they sometimes appear there
-
nice choice furki!!!!!!!!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) tho even then E-30 EVO's still are a tad expensive and more than likely just over the £10k mark
-
right i might be able to allay yer fears a wee bit.......the bit with german writing on it.........does it say....bleifrei unleaded sans plomb???? or similar???......cos all that is....is a wee warning to remember to use unleaded fuel......most early 90 C's have that on the switch blank and the RAC search for some reason on older cars defaults to December 30th manufactured date...........no-idea why but they do......as mine was reg'd 2/12/95 yet the RAC site says mine was manufactured 30/12/95 so near on impossible  and 6 owners in 12 years aint too bad tbh.........as the first couple of owners could well have been in the first year of ownership
-
hmmmmm i think you'd be pretty hard pressed to get a decent 968 for under or near £10k
-
yes there are plenty VW's with porker rims......but bear in mind too that previously there was quite a big tie-in with VW/Audi and Porsche......so IMHO it goes well
-
must admit i'm pretty amazed by the get up n go that the 1.6FSi has.........delivered one out to the sticks(50-ish miles) a couple of weeks back for Europcar and was well impressed by the more than decent performance it had
-
not going to be a problem for you for too much longer tho

reckon merc will be willing to sell these easily?

should do..............a wee mini C convoy  -
my thoughts too kieron it was a £20k car so therefore will still have pretty close to £20k car bills/running costs etc........except that you can now get into them for £2k and upwards.........ok main-dealer servicing then isn't too important, but they will still need to have a decent maintanence regime adhered to whether it be DIY or specialist servicing.....and lets be honest here........unless you know the person selling it, the main-dealer/VW-specialist serviced ones will be a lot easier to sell than ones that have maybe been serviced to the same level but DIY'd........i think one of the main reasons why people have also been burned by rogue C's(especially VR's) is that these C's really need to be sorted as soon as a problem arises and to not cut corners etc........
-
well done spencer!!........and good luck for round 4
-
no problem hope it all helps  .....and its good to see somebody with yer atitude to the wee niggles the C throws up......must admit the Escort Cossie is the one car that would deffo get me out of a C............how/why did you sell yours.....if ya don't mind me asking??
-
i think its also to do with the intense heat generated when the fog-lights are on too............
-
dunno if this will help you....... http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11780....

ok as the title says...........what do you hate the most about yer C?............. lets hear what it is that annoys or iritates you most about the design or styling of the C..........and please no.......".i hate how much i have to pay for insurance/parts/fuel or how crap the headlights/handles and some switch gear can be etc"    right here's mine; how when it rains if you open your window ever so slightly......you get a soaked arm and water on to the carpet between the seat and door     so anyone else got wee grievences like that?????
