  2. ok came up wit these errors lol 18057 Powertrain Data Bus: Missing Message from ABS Controller 17526 Oxygen (Lambda)? 16825 - ? 18058 - EVAP Emission Control Sys 17931 - Crash signal of the Airbag controller implausible signal (gues thats not connected) 18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30: Voltage Too Low 16955 - Brake Switch Implausible Signal think i found out what some are , any ideas ?

  4. ok cleaned up the maf, and had a fissle with the boost pipes, all seem ok. i've suspisians are the dump valve - how do i tell if thats broken lol. also - the engine warning light flashes intermitantly like a strobe under hard exelartion, that cant be good lol!
  5. i have one of these, (didnt fit it myself) love it! the previous owner drilled a small holl in the lower of the tube after the flap and put the gubins through that - i can imagen that it wouldnt be hard to cover if it was removed. also allows you to keep the flap closed. my advise - use it and find a way! lol

  7. its hard to say, in my opinion its got noticably slower since the map but that may be me getting used to it.... i had trouble getting past some crappy car today when i was at 4k revs and all i could do was keep up, still running 20 psi. yep has the port so ill take her up there tomorow if they can fit me in, its realy weard!! wish i knew more about the setup but i dont :( + the fueling was all off today i think, popping and stuttering all over the place. very hot day though.

  9. yep, but there a long way away from me so they recommend that i get it on vag com befor i drive half way across the country :(. how much do people ushaly charge to put them on vag com? also, is there any way that i can find out what mannagement is on it ?
  10. ok tryed that - couldnt tell a change. i just d/c the batt for 5 mins then reconnect it and put the key in the ignition "on" for 20+ secconds? i heard a squeeky sound for abit but i hear that alot anyway.

  13. it felt faster than befor the map for shure but defo isnt as fast as they were predicting, there about 300 miles away or more from me so going up there is not realy a posibility unless i get it on vagcom 1st, what sort of errors/sensors out should i be looking out for that would effect the performance? btw thanks for the quick reply :) ps: if the engine goes into limp mode, will the boost guage still read 20-22 psi?

  16. with the forge split -r dump valves, is there any issue with running them fully recirc do you think ?
  17. if you get a mate to help you to chage the suspention - its "realy easy" i did it all by myself and only had an issue with getting a bolt off the old one so i had to get a mate to help hold a rod while i undid a nut :) you just need a tourqe rench and the correct end bit :) (and a little spanner to undoo the rear side shelves)
  18. ok, had her on the roaling road and my stage 2 map only got me to 207-bhp which im not to happy with, do you think its worth giving cc a ring to discuss it ? mabe im being a little ambitious, its only got a few mods - streat through exaust - custom down pipe - full k&n induction to the outside - fmic - forge turbo inlet pipes, could it be injectors being standard do you think ?

  20. thanks matey, yep ive been to all kind of car/plumbing shops looking for somthing that will adapt it but ive desided to put it into formula one in brighton to do it properly, shouldnt take them 2 long as all they have do do is wire it up (with proper wires) and find an adapter. had it whired up but not to the car
  21. right, i give up (thanks for the help though) can i go to a garage and say - can you fit this for me ? and how much would they charge? edit - i have it wired up but it says use "twin conductave wire" what the heck is that ? can i use house cables? or is it heat related?
  22. can i jsut link it up to the old sender from the previous guage (bering in mind ones "tim" and ones "auto gauge") its already in there and through the dash? also were would i get this "t" piece?
  23. hi, i have just bought a water temp guage (autoguage) and im not shure were to put the sender, i have been looking for an inline housing for it but to no avail. what i think i need is what i have highlited in the pic below in yelow to make the thread fit the old guage housing - any ideas were to get these things? manny thanks guys x
