its an isotta zulag, got it of the bay for £45 - the boss halfords gave me is a mountey stering wheel boss m237 which is supost to fit later rados :( but it doesnt - is it hard to get hold of a momo one on short notice? want to get this done befor the weekend for gti inters :(

ahh crapola, yea the boss - its the small one - went to halfords and specified the year and they have given me the wrong part no, no way around this ? thanks for the fast reply btw!

hi guys, been searching but to no avail - i have bought myself a stering wheel and boss and have removed the old wheel but i cant find any info on how to remove the old hub (think thats what its called) its the part called 2A in this diagram im guessing that i have to remove that bit for the new boss to fit but do i just pull it off? - it doesnt move :( this is realy frustrating as all the info i can find is that diagram and http://www.corrado-vr6.info/docs/changi ... rrado2.pdf but it doesnt show how to remove this bit :(

also - is it easy to take the old one off ? i have tryed al lafternoon - is there a tool to use that removes the piece of metal from the stering wheel "long bit" so the new boss fits on? im frustrated atm after being in a highstreet with no stering wheel for hours! :(

i think its from demon tweeks mate - they look cheep though and im pretty shure u can get beter ones but cant remember were :( still does the job :)

janex ebay coilovers 14 threads up on the coilovers (if that helps). on 17s not shure if there any good yet, they seem ok , a little bouncy but not hard or anything like that.

ok, took me 2 afternoons but there on! not shure if i have made them abit low but havent felt any rubbing on bumps /roundabouts. the rinde is actualy alot better than my old springs although a little bouncy there not banging on the bumps :). can just get about a finger between the arch and the wheel (is this bad?). thanks for the help guys - well chuffed! btw will they need to be a sertain hight for an mot?

ok after 2 hours or so - i cant get the rudy bolts off - its like there glued on and now there starting t round off :(

exchanged waves with a dragon green (i think) at bramber yesterday afternoon.

I poped down to see them yesterday and the chap was verry pleasent, he semed to think that it would be a progresave map rather than a punch in the face, he had a look at what had been done to the car already and he recons he could squeeze around 240 out of her. soulds alot to me but hey - gna try it out and see what happens. :) wish me luck lol.

ok thanks for the help guys - managed to tow her to a garage and the wire from the lambda probe had melted and gone onnto the exaust creating a bad earth lol..
