hi guys, were trying to find out the rpm wire from the back of the clocks - as its not standard i think the only way were going to do this is to take the clocks apart and trace it to the wire - any idea how to get the circuit board out of the clocks?

oo i like that pod, were did you get it and was it hard to get it to fit properly? (the one on the piller)

ok thnaks guys, ill have a look to see what setting it is on, one more thing - do i need to get the splitR serviced?

the dump valve is a forge 007 i think - looks just like this one http://www.carperformancepartsuk.com/sh ... Valve.html oo that is the splitR lol. you may be able to help me then, there are various settings on them by turning the knob at the top, how do i know when i get it to the optimal position? i just had a stage 2 map and wasnt shure if i need to fiddle with it again.

Do you run with a full tank? it may be your fuel tank is not venting properly? I just vented mine to atmosphere when I put the syncro tank in :) - no nasty niffs either, even on the hottest days ushaly run with 1/4 tank, there supost to vent in some way? theres a 300zx up the road with a straw coming out of his petrol cap - mabe i need one of these lol?

this might be abit newb, when i open the petrol cap it seems like there is a great deal of preshure in there and kinda pushes the cap off with quite a whoosh - didnt have this on my old c so was wondering if it was somthing about turbos or mabe somthing isnt wright? thanks

tbh im not shure, its dbw with a cc map but thats all i know - managed to fit the new guage in the vent - took half the dash off befor realising that the vent just pulled out!

not today, but the past week and a half :) new coilovers - de-locked door handles - new alarm with remote start - new grill - new stering wheel (isotta) - stage 2 remap (i didnt do it) - new 30psi boost guage in the vent pod and new washer bottle. (any excuse to post!) :) next stop posible tinting.

just got a phase 2 (from standard) from custom code at gti inters - all i can say is wow!peakes quite high and then levls off - - just wanted to express my exitment on it, its like going from a quite fast car to - hang on! although i buggered my 1/4 mile time as i came strait from the coders and went to try it and just span the wheels all over :( think i got a 7 or somthing lol (and went in the wrong lane) hehe
