chips on ebay are good ,i had one ,seemed to inmprove with it fitted ,just sold the ecu with it fitted and the lad who brought it said t helped as well ,hope this helps ,oh chip is by 'blitzchip'

m putting a g60 ecu and loom into my car which is a 92 kr9a (2 litre) mainly to clean up the bay but hoping to go turbo later (when money allows) is this simply a case of plugging in the g60 engine loom or is there any other wiring needed ,searched but nothing specific ,checked vortex and there is talk of joining the motronic plugs to the digi loom ?? not sure if thats what ive got to do ??

I'd agree, don't worry about it. I've got alot of stick for my car, seems silly now that people are that bothered about what someone else chooses to do to their car. Took it hard at first because i wasn't expecting it, but when you step back and think about it doesn't matter because you do it for yourself. My car is actually held in much higher regard in the US than UK mainly because they have a much greater understanding of building showcars. People in the UK show scene will openly slate a car they are competeing against if its better than theirs. Number of times i've listened to someone pulling someone elses car apart, then had a look at theirs and thought aarrh, they know they've lost and trying to convince themselves otherwise. You know that i rate your car as the greatest VW showcar built so far, mainly because i'd like to get mine up to a similar standard and its and unbelievable amount of work. Fact is, you forget the comments when you look at your latest batch of chromed parts to be fitted and realise why to love it. :lol:[/quote:2a5e2] it is very easy to get dragged in though ,when people are bangng on about only fitting the very best parts and only taking it to the very best paintshops/trimmers ,its easy to feel like your cars not good enough ,especially when you do whatever part yourself , i polished an inlet manifold when i first got the c which was a bitch and to look at your and lees shows an amazing amount of time and effort put in ,which is why im so impressed with them both ,really wish i could see this car in the flesh ,lee's looks amazing ,pics dont do it justice ,maybe one day ill get to go to a us show and check it out

I'm proud but am very overlycritical of my work at times. Yeah I really like the lower stance with the tires tucked up in the wheel wells. That was the look I was originally going for. is there actually anyone who hasn't liked it though ,seems near perfect to me but is there anyone who just doesn't appreciate it ?,

think i prefer the lower pic looks cool with the tyres tucked in the arches ,very nice car you must be very proud?

i got a winter car late last year ,my g/f's old mk3 gti ,bloody things costing me more than the raddo to run ,and its no where near as quick !! looks alright though ,and its kinda cool not really worrying where you park it

west mids ,its lovely

2 years 4 months ,spent easily half that time off the road,mainly cos of me mesing though

toyota avensis has got this colour ,would look good on a corrado ,

i sprayed mine too ,months of prep ,with a bodyshop preppar friend teaching/checking everthing ,the paint is quite easy cos if you cock it up you can polish it back up,just make sure theres enough paint on the panels , i also did it with a small compressor in my mates garage ,and its good quality ,seen people pay silly money for a job thats no where near mine so im chuffed,even my local paint supplier thought it looked good ,it really is very satisfying knowing that you have done it too even if it isn't 100% and knowing if you get a dent or scratch ,you can fix it relativly cheaply .

really like it ! kinda makes the splitter look funny though with the smooth front bumper ,im sure its amazing in the flesh .

ste pitt from pitstop developments had this done with his polo g40 when he was still working at the post ,had a kid ring him and ask about the car he used to own !!! ended up with his name on the logbook twice cos he had to register it back to himself ,he wasn't pleased !!!!

i did this as well ,used the one with the hazards from a seat something, which are the same but use the square hazard switch so no need to change the cowling ,hope this helps some one

once had to be towed home by a vauxhall astra van in the corrado ,and i used to own an r5 1 litre with a dimma kit :oops: which i made a jap spoiler for out of bits of metal ,a la carisma !! exept mine dropped of going round an island and got run over by a jeep ,who din't even notice ,i was too embarressed to pick it up and my g/f still laugh's about it today ,god i had some sh1t cars !!

think theres something wrong if your getting beat by them cars ,ive done a vauxhall coupe 2.2 something ,stormed up behind my bro in law's bmw 325 and he wouldn't play,beat agolf 16v (which was very quick) mondeo st24 off the lights ,1.4 civics are poor , i have a k'n'n decat pipe ,ebay blitzchip,ported tb and a stainless exhaust ,still got to do the inlet cam swap .

your dedication to the car is unbeleivable lee ,was there any thing that influenced you building it ,it doesn't matter if it hasn't changed i bet most would still love to see it !!
