For ppl fitting one of these-i cant stress how important it is that the top slat and the bottom two are held firmly! The weak point is where the top slat joins up with the middle one on each side.Looks class once fitted though. Cheers Fraser

Just wondering if anyone has a scorpion boxer rear box on the corrado? I need a new rear box and think this tail pipe looks ok but im wondering if anyone has had problems with it fitting into the grove made for it on the bumper? The tail pipe i have at the moment is a round 4.5 inch one and it fits perfect. anyone know of any good sites or places for a stainless exhaust-just backbox. Cheers Fraser

I fitted it by drilling four holes through the grill and headlight cover(two holes per light) then just got red cable ties and cable tied it through the drilled holes. On the second slat down i made another two holes (unseen) and cable tied it to the two vertical bits of metal next to either horn.First one of these i didnt drill the last two holes and the thing came flying off on the motorway! I also drilled two wee holes on the top too lugs and put two of the small self tappers through it to prevent it from popping out at the top.The small self tappers were the only parts of the supplied kit that i used. Managed to fix the problem with second-when they connected the gear linkage back up they left one of the fat electric cables for fan or something going under it. Cheers Fraser

Got car back last night-its amazing the difference new clutch and flywheel can make-always had loads of movement from gearbox when changing gears and low down acceleration-its alot smoother now.Clutch feels bit light but cant complain.Only one thing-going into second is a bit tight (feels like Mums MK3 GTI)-i know theres a post somewhere showing this can be adjusted slightly-can some1 direct me to it or explain how to do it.Also got my old flywheel back the ring gear has worn away in places-could this be put on lathe and fixed-mibby lightened? Cheers Fraser

where is the earth on the gearbox? i disconected (when engine was very warm-but egnition not fully on) the plug that goes into the expansion tank and plugged the plug that sits behind the tank into the tank-the water temp gauge didnt rise but after a minute the water level warning light started flashing-does this mean the neddle is f**kd or is it somit else? Cheers Fraser
-
Mine has failed today-after getting it back from the garage (fitting new clutch and flywheel)-the guage doesnt go up at all.I have checked all the plugs around the engine they seemed fine. But once i checked it later a small black plug (spade) on the side of the engine just next to the distributor cap broke away as i checked it-does anyone know what this is-could it have been original problem? Cheers Fraser
