Had a similar problem with my mk3 golf, very scary, it turned out to be the wiring going to the distributor but it 2 garages and an auto electrician to find out.

Mine was off the for 4 months 6 weeks after i got it and a couple of times since, even the guy at the local garage suggested i sell it even though i suspect my business was paying his mortgage. Still, it builds character!

Saw a nissan cube this morning, had to look twice because i thought they weren't being sold in europe, have also seen an arial atom and an assortment of ferraris but they all look the same to me.

I used three step system when i first got mine and it took 7 hours start to finish, i got a sunburnt back and arms like popeye but the result was stunning. Not looking forward to doing it again for sunday.

I think i've got a picture of your car on my wall (sad?) press photo thing, as for the insurance, that amount of money means that you actually DO own the road now. Keep hold of the certificate and grin smugly every time you are stopped by a bored copper.

I've calmed down a bit now, the last time this happened i was days away from my final exams at uni now its happened again as i'm about to get the results tomorrow. The situation now is i'm currently scouring websites looking for somewhere to live, regrettably away from Manchester - garage a must i'm deciding whether or not to take the car to the forensics to see if they can find anything or identify the substance, copper said it might be worth it but my dad washed it off before i saw it and it pi$$ed down down all day I may just take it off the road altogether and create something special- vent my anger in a positive way, my insurance excess is £450- yes thats four hundred and fifty english pounds so its not worth claiming. Anyway i feel like its a kick up the backside i just need to snap out of the violent daydreams that involve me, the culprit (s) and some Tarantino-style justice. Look what happened on Sunday morning. No point in even discussing how i feel. I live amongst scum, scum who have again targeted my car.
