    Right, im putting zimmerman crossed drilled disks on my 92 g60 and there of course held on by the 4 wheel nuts but, theres also the screw which a, wouldnt be big enough to hold the disks in place and b, is'nt even in the right place for it to fit with the wheel nuts. they do hold on fine with just the wheel nuts and i have been told i dont need it but do i??? :roll: nothing ever goes smooth and simple with theese cars does it!!!

    92 g60 totally rust free for now, my old 90 had one little spot on the bottom of the tail gate and my 90 gti thats been sitting for a year is practicly rust free too. cant be bad.

    yeah theres no hellfrauds in spain though and i've not seen any equivelent here, I have to get most things from vw or mail order gsf I'll figure some type of clamp out. cheers.

    right cheers all, im putting coil overs on so just got to get the fronts off then.

    I was going to change my suspension today but was told by a local mechanic that i need to clamp the springs down when undoing them so they dont decompress when i take the bolt off. The guy reckons they'll fly up and knock my head off!!?? if this is the case what can i use ??I thought they'd just drop out ??. cheers. :roll:

    yeah mine was 50 euros and looked good in helios blue, but it's all down to opinion.

    bit of tape or something to hold them in she'll be right they should have the clips though, I actually emailed to see if they were right.
