    i need to get my timing belt and tensioner changed, i have the parts but not going to try it myself this time. Anyway how much would you expect to pay at a decent non vw garage?? been quoted about 150 euros sound right??. cheers, chaz.

    not to fussed on that realy, theres nicer cars on the market and probally for less. I dont think theres ever going to be a vw anything like the rrado again , the best performance car they make now is the r32, which would be a stepup on performance but not looks.

    i got a big ass chip/dent on the roof of my golf from little fukkers chucking rocks, i drove across a field tryin to catch but couldnt see them. little bastards need stringing up!

    it is the way forward man check out http://www.fish4car.de think it takes you to autoscout theres plenty of bargins on there. I'm thinking about bringing a few audi a3's over as there dirt cheap over there and fetch good euro here. i live in calpe on the costa blanca ... for now.

    bbs at last and i got my fk coilys on too need to bring her home now and get a new exhaust fitted and my charger redone! (will she last the long trip to wales thats the question )
