ive had my car a year now and its never driven right so ive changed the spark plugs, distibuter cap, leads, fiel filter, oil, oil filter, air filter, battery, basicly tried everthing so now ive removed the charger to send to g-werks thinking it'd be wrecked but its not it spins fine and inside is clean seals are in place so im lost now basiclly its doesnt charge the car its slower than my mates old 8 valve!!! and at about 5000 revs in second is the only place you feel the car really pull breifly till i change to third its kind of jumpy off the mark but is ok on moterways but it does start everyday and drives with no stalling ????? im at my wits end with it i've had it for a year and have still never driven a g60 and im in spain so the mechanics havent got a clue any ideas??????. :roll: :x :mad: :(

right i got it off not to hard but some awkard bits any way before i send it from spain to g-werks can anyone tell me anything from the pics is it worth getting done? is it ok and doesnt need doing? it looks clean inside and the apex seals are where they should be but im new to this its the first time ive taken one off so i've got no comparisons cheers.

could be an excess of fuel coming through in to the exhaust or mayby you need to replace a gasket

its a sensor for co2 emissions it tells the ecu the levels so your car will drive right think its somthing you shold get sorted and should be less than 100 quid someone will elaborate as im no expert this should help http://www.lambdasensor.com

the most ive done in the rrado was the costa blanca to andora about 600 kms no probs nice trip up the pyranees but in my old mk2 gti i did cardiff to toulouse that was a trek iirc about 900 miles or so ! once again no probs the mighty dub cant fault em (woohoo 100 posts)!!

by the first box do you mean front or back? if its the front it could be where the lambda probe goes?

I got a 90 g60 with adjustable steering column so i'd imagine so

i have done a search but found nothing relevant i need to get my charger off to g-werks but i live in spain and trust no local garages (if you live here you probally no why!) is there any step by step instructions anywhere? and can a non mechanical person like myself do this at home from what i can tell the difficulty is the tensioner spring? any advise appreciated??

its those big plastic bits on the front and back of the car that everytime you get back to your parked car some dicks hit or scratched!

who knows for sure but i dont know what would make the bike go in to the car rather than sliding over the top anyway whoever was on it isnt with us now i wouldnt of thought.

i ran off to spain so i'm freindless now the only people i speak too are far more into there cars than me and thats saying somthing of course most of the spanish chav equivelents drive well ott ibizas and leons some are of but most look like big plastic bags of shite! people here dont apreciate things like us brits though seems theyd rather drive hyundai's than have a clasic just so they can have a newer car! estas loco!

theve just discoverd them in spain and i cant get to or from my house without atleast 2 roads of them and there real sharp too not the gradual ones im used to in the uk if i hit them to hard i whack the cat it does hang low though! also somtimes get a nasty knock from the front left wheel cant be good!

vw service living up to there good name . all i can say about them they wanted 110 euros to fit new spark plugs for me!!!! which vw said this to you mate?
