no probs on cleaning up the leather for ya... i'm going to the saddlery shop on Sat morn, i can pick up the cleaner and leather oil for ya when i'm there if u want...? it'll cost about £7............ :)

Henny - that sounds like a bit of an understatment mate...!!! :roll: i dont have a garage to have stuff in.... :( tho i do have 3 sets of alloys sitting in Daves parents garage, (estorils, TSW's and bbs/bmw's), none have a full set of tyres tho..... really need to get em sorted and sell em as it appears i may have a fetish for buying the car shoes as well as myself!!! :D

I've seen pics of one that lives up near North Queensferry, its a red VR that some guy has had converted himself. My mate saw it when he was there and got talking to the owner, apparently he only uses it in summer and he's owned it almost from new, its completely standard apart from the roof conversion. My friend told him about my C and the forum and the owner said he 'wasnt in to all that stuff'..... its a pity cos it was stunning!!! I'll see if my mate still has the pics on his phone he can send me and i'll post em up..... :)

I got caught by the 6 points in the probationary period too.... took 3 months for me to resit my tests and get my licence back!!! admittedly i did fail my test for speeding the first time i resat it!!! oops... :oops: no points since then thank goodness, licence is completely clear now....

Ugliest car...??? hmmmmmm.... i'd say its gotta be a close run thing between the Multipla, yuckity yuck...... or the Hyundai Accent, especially in white with a biiiiiig spoiler.... uuugh...... revolting...... Prettiest car.... can i be really sad and say i still think that the Rado is stunning, but that the Alfa Romeo Brera makes me come over all funny at one glance.... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!

welcome to Corrado ownership mate - my valver was in one piece when i bought her and promptly fell to bits over the next few weeks. i was sooooooooo used to having to sit waiting on the hard shoulder for someone to come rescue me and the car i kept a book in her so i wouldnt get bored!!! i've learned more about mechanics since i got her than i could in a year working in a garage!!!! she's still not perfect (we had an attack of 'hiccups' the other nite for no reason) but damn she looks good and i love driving her - plus she's given the boyf something to amuse himself with instead of working on his own!!! :D i got her in March and i'd be here all nite if i listed all the stuff thats broke or needed something done to it!!! enjoy it while it lasts, you'll be bored when u've got nothing to fix............... :roll: :D

find out where your local GSF (german, swedish and french car parts) is... they will have all the stuff you need and they are pretty cheap!!!! or try http://www.gsfcarparts.com, i've had to go a couple of times to get bits that i had noooooo idea about and they were really helpful..... as for finding where to drain the PAS fluid, stick a post in the Drivetrain section, someone will know that one!!! hth....

acquire a full set of matching same sized alloys to fit on her - the 2 TSW and 2 Estoril look she has now just aint cool..... :( persuade Andy T to part with the red-trimmed back seat that makes up the full set with my fronts - pwwweeeeeeeeese...? ;) slam her if i can afford it - which i can't... :( full set of mats - red n black of course..... drive her there!!!!!!! :D

there are very few that look better than yours mate... its one of my favourites on here!!!!! thanks for the comments tho... there were a few times when i reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally regretted buying her instead of something in a bit better condition...!!! have still got stuff to do but at least i can start thinking about the more fun stuff like seats n stereos rather than just worrying over whether she will actually start for me!!!! :D

am struggling for wheels at the mo... my estorils are gubbed and the tsw's are a tyre short, kerbed and possibly a bit squinty... so borrowed the BBS's for the pic..... have no idea what wheels to get for her and need it done before E38.... :roll: and anyway... i think Dave is just fed up with me moaning bout the car so thought he'd sort it so he'd get peace.....!!!
