yup - Sambo's is the one! its the car I want my current C to look like... but if he's selling it then why not.....? :) stanbates would be forever in debt to ya mate if you could, would cover petrol costs etc.... tho if osv says its a goodun then really whos to argue, he obviously has great taste in rados.... and walsey, the Borbets aint on it.... i have my own set of new wheels to be going on it...... and how do u know bout Daves fetish...? hi guys... might be a longshot but i thought i'd ask anyway... would anyone in the Blackpool area be able to go view a C for me i am thinking of purchasing? its a bit of a long trek for me to make if it doesnt suit (though i dont doubt what the seller says about condition etc) and i'd quite like a thirdpartys view on it if poss.... will provide golden beer tokens as well as the chance to look at a lovely Rado.... :lol: :wink: drop me a pm if poss and i'll get back to you as soon as i can get online again!!! cheers!!

had thought about that one Dr Mat... though havnt ever done it before and i'm sure ive been told the distributer is expensive... looks like a possibility tho... :roll: anyone else have any suggestions....?

no noise that i have noticed... was wondering bout the possibility of it being the ECU though if it was causing probs could it be intermittant? ignition? electrics? fuelling? maybe i should just buy a VR.... pfft.......

right guys... am hoping someone might have an idea whats happening to my C, 2ltr 16v for those that dont know. basically she feels, and sounds, like she is dropping onto 3 cylinders from time to time. I cant find any pattern to it, its not at certain revs or only when cold or anything like that,although she does seem to do it more when ive had a prob starting her, like yesterday when the engine was turing but not catching for a good few seconds before she started.... she feels heavy and sluggish, and the engine sounds like its struggling.... it also feels really lumpy when i am driving.... it can also happen when i am driving for a while then go away and she will feel fine again.... she done this a lot whan i got her, ive had the lambda changed, plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm and shes recently had an oil and filter change... and the alternator gave up last weekend and has been replaced (since doing that the lumpy idle issue has gone ???) had a nightmare drive home last nite from work, didnt go anywhere last night cos i dont trust her not to leave me stranded again, but she was 95% back to norm this morning... any suggestions.....? am toying with the idea of trying to find another engine thats in better condition and possibly with a history and swapping it into her....

yup - this happened to me... had steam and water pouring out in a car park, replaced the hose with one from GSF an she was fine, although still running really warm, so got the coollant sytem all flushed soon after and found out it was badly blocked.... all sorted now and shes not had a prob with it since.... i you can afford to do all the hoses then do it... it's just something you'll need to do eventually anyway..... :roll:

I'm with Tempest on this one, I have no probs with my Rado being refered to as a Rocco as it has been done on a few occasions, without the Rocco there would be no Rado.... however, the idiot that called it an Ibiza, then an Escort one night deserved to be called the horrible names that I called him... twunt....!!! :lol:

Wednesday afternoon - twilight violet M reg VR in the petrol station at Tescos on Yateley Main Street... looked completely standard, sounded fab tho... Thursday lunchtime - Red H reg valver (i think) low on 17's and with M3/clear style rear lights at traffic lights in Guildford beside the shopping park with B&Q in it, i was 2 cars behind so you wouldnt have seen me.... theres bl**dy hundreds round here.......

i agree - i have never liked ABS for the same reason and would be quite happy if i could have it removed when my brakes are next done. admittedlt tho mine doesnt seem to be working at the mo anyway.... which is good...!!!

ooooh... I picked the C up from a garage in Guildford last nite bout that time so it could have been me...!!! admittedly though I have no idea where the place is that you saw the C so I could be completely wrong.... :oops:

dark blue or black VR6 N reg in the car park at Sainsburys in Blackwater/Yateley type area (dunno what that bits called...!)... exchanged knowing looks.... anyone.....?
