there 9x16... but the car is still standard height (looks like a rollerskate) so they only rub very slightly on full lock... new car is lowered 60mm so am gonna have to get it raised until i get arches flared asap as i imagine they are gonna rub constantly!!!!

dark grey g60 (i think) on m3 last nite, J reg, german plates, you overtook me and flashed your lights!!? -
em, am kinda lucky at the mo that i have about 3-4k budget, although the longer i leave it the smaller that will become.... when i spoke to Raj he thought it would be possible to do the whole set up for £1.5k, tho thats with spacer plates, having looked into buying all the bits seperately I believe I can get it all for about a grand, mostly second -hand however, now I just need to find someone to put it all together that i trust.... am gonna have a trawl through some sites later looking for bits, i'll pm the links onto you if you want?

I've been looking into this too, am hoping to get it started in Feb if i can find a garage i trust to put it all together. Original plan was the spacer gasket option but am now planning the S2 set up with (probably) t3/t4 hybrid turbo... havnt had to much prob finding the bits i need, biggest prob has been deciding on which set up to use as they all seem to have there good points... am looking for 220-240 bhp, nothing mad, just a bit of fun!!!! a stickied thread on this would be fantastic - anyone?

agreed.... have just spent 7 hours in mine driving home from glasgow, and i would quite happily get out and drive her for another 7 hours (after several pints of coffee....)!!! they have that wonderful 'thing' about them that makes u stop and look again... wouldnt swap my rado for anything - well maybe a slightly quicker one in the same colour.... :)

oooooola lady!!! nice to see you finally popped up to say hello....! we'll sort out the wheels on Shirley this weekend and get some pics of her looking pretty.... :)

(posted by gradeAfailure on behalf of Laura/scarlett) ;) Just had a call from Laura, she's on her way up to Glasgow for the weekend and it seems that her radiator fan is making a bit of a racket and needs replaced. Is there anyone in the Glasgow area who'd be able to lend her a hand sourcing one from a scrappy and getting it fitted as she's not got any tools with her? Cheers y'all! Dave ('er other half )

maybe if i was driving a nova with half a tonne of carbon fibre bits stuck on, silly exhaust, bangin' tunes blaring and a burberry cap...... but were not, so no....
-
i usually get a wave... there are 2 rados i see almost daily around where i stay, a black valver and a red one and both drivers flash and wave everytime i pass them, sadly tho neither appear to be on here....

lol... Yeah, I have a funny feeling Dave wont last long without one, especially when i get my new C and the 'rat really can't keep up... :) Amy has registered, she is just shy and hasnt said hello yet, though we will be getting pictures of the car to put up soon....!

ola!!!! have managed to enlighten yet another person to the ways of the Corrado!!! my boyf's sister, Amy, was looking for a new car, she asked to drive mine on sunday so she could see how she felt driving something bigger than the pug 106 1.1 shes had for 3 years.... went for a quick run in car and she decided that she did want something a bit more powerful than the 106.... so last night she bought a valver!.... 1.8, 1992, pearl grey, 80,000 miles...! advertised on here by previous owner.... went to see it last night, she loved it and it seems tidy enough.... looks like i'll manage to drag her along to the SE meet as well as she picks it up on sunday....!!! :) anyone else ever let someone drive there car only for them to then go buy a rado....? :)
-
my back lights were done with it, looks great! i got it from a little car accessory shop. Halfords dont do it but it would be worth while trying Motorworld and any others like that to see if they stock it... i bought the laquer from Halfords tho as they were cheapest.... hth
-
eek... i believe it is in behind the heater control panel, and it sounds like an easy job to replace, literally unplug the old one and plug the new one in...!
-
mine does this too, have been told it could be the resistor pack??? might be worth looking into..... :)

What's my US-spec Rado worth, another thread ;-)
scarlett replied to Tempest's topic in General Car Chat
i think it would be terrible if he struggled to get this sold and only made £2500... its lush and with all the optional extras in the spec you would think it would more than make up for the fact its LHD.... just seems like no Rado is worth anything just now..... :( -
ok... i cant post pics up (cos i am a bit think and still dont know how to... ) but check out the pic in sig, even at that distance you can see the nice glossy shine off the C, and thats original paint....
-
if the silly bint who is buying my flat had her finances sorted when she should have the new C would have been here this week!!! unfortunately she didnt so it'll be next week now - plus i have to find a way and time to get to Blackpool and get her!!! :)
-
am planning to get one of these for the new one.....!!! without the little ears tho.....
-
