right... thought I should update this thread as the C's looking a little different now!!! she's not completely finished (are they ever???) but I think she's looking good .... Dave (gradeAfailure) has done a lot of the work for me so I won't even attempt to claim any credit for how she's looking now!!! have also started getting somewhere on the mechanical/electrical issues - finally!!! she now starts without problems, am running at a constant 90deg coolant temp instead of the 110-120 we were getting and I have central locking working again!!! yay!!! best bit is the 2 new front seats.... am on the lookout for a back bench with the hump to have the centre sections done the same, and will have the door cards done too!!! am still struggling with choosing wheels for her... the plan is to drop her 40mm and get her another set of new shoes!!! any suggestions guys???? anyway... here's Scarlett when I got her... and here she is now...!!!

cool... that would be fab!!! am in a total dilemma over ride height and wheel choice at the mo, plus my C's bodywork is a bit dodgy too so dont worry bout it.....!!! anyway... am off topic (oops!!!)..... am sure i'll see ya soon tho!!!! :D

em..... watched while Dave changed broken door handle for a nice Rat one... and then he changed spark plugs, leads and dizzy cap, sorted central locking (i can open the boot!!!!), done badges and wiper arms black and fixed various little bits of trim that had fallen off!!!!! me??? I, em...... gave moral support and passed him the occasional tool/part when required!!! :D

lol...strangely enough it only started working since he touched it!!!! and i have central locking working now cos he fixed it!...... oh, sorry i missed you the other day Randal...... my apologies... need to get a look at your car at some point, have heard good things about it!!!!!! :D

mysterious fan issue seems to have sorted itself out!!! turned engine off today and fan was clearly working, for the first time ever.....!!!!! unfortunately the engine still runs at about 100 degrees so the darn fan switch and 'stat are still getting replaced!!!! but at least the fans decided to work....... for now!!! :roll:

yeah Bristol Baron, you probably wont read it on here because, and the other girls will agree, this is one of the few forums where we are made to feel welcome as car enthusiasts and not as potential eye candy... the reason i have a chip on my shoulder is bacause of guys like Enthusitw@tEdward who seem to plague me whenever i have to do something with the Rado... i cant even walk into a shop and buy a part without comments from the guy behind the counter.... i've even had a mechanic offer to do all the work on my car for me in exchange for me sleeping with him...!!! i mean come on!!! as a girl Rado ownership is infuriating, i love my car, i am quite happy to get dirty (no comments) and get what needs sorted fixed myself and all i ask is that i get treated with a bit of respect from you boys because at the end of the day we've all got a common interest in our cars..... let me say it again tho, i've never had any negative comments on here, i've always found everyone helpful and friendly, and even when i had a link to my faceparty pics in my signature there were never any nasty or sleazy comments.... i think we've got a great wee community here and i for one am happy to be part of it... the odd idiot will always come along and say something stupid.... as for the rest of u, thanks for making my first few months of Corrado ownership a little more fun!... right, rant over and i promise to say no more on the subject... (unless provoked!!!! )

guilty as charged!!! i made a comment about 1 guy on here, just one... it was nothing sleazy or offensive tho..... plus, i picked one of the only guys that doesnt have a Rado, so it's got nothing to do with his car (even thos the 'rat does rock like pink plastic piggies....!!!) so there !!!! :D

eeeeeeeugh...... he should be locked up for that bodywork.... not my thing at all..... :( i presume hes done this in an attempt to 'modernise' the rado?? ie, if they made it now this is what it would look like......?

look mate - am not discriminating against anyone because they dont have a rado, i have only had mine for a few months and only bought this particular one cos she was really cheap... my issue is your comments. ive been part of this forum for months and my sex has never been an issue, nor has how i look... i am here, and i am sure M15 VW, Butterfly and BlackCat will agree, because i love these cars... driving them, working on them or just standing looking at them.... i come on this forum because i get treated equally, unlike on some forums, and ive made some good friends on it (and one who's more than friends)... lets not ruin the atmosphere now... be nice and we'll be nice to you.....
