ww-promo replied to ww-promo's topic in Drivetrain

Hi, I have recently had some knocking comming from the rear end [passenger side] when reversing out of the drive or turning into say a car park over a small pavement step etc. Untill tonight, I had just pulled out onto a dual carriageway and I heard a bit of a clunk, then the C seemed to wobbly left to right! It seemed like the rear end was steering. After :censored: :censored: :censored: alot I very quickly & slowly pulled over and abandoned her :( . Can anyone please help me. Would it be the rear axel bushes? I did notice that the rear wheel had rubbed on the inside, so somthing has moved, alot! Thanks in advance! Oli

I see your point! I cropped the Jetta pic as the cards on the tables will have the full photo on them. Dont think I have another shot of it. Will see what it looks like with the whole car on show. I do like the G40s! Mmm. Cheers!

Alright, Ive used 'White Wizard' before on my headlining and it works a treat! In fact it cleans pretty much any & everything it touches. Link below: http://www.lakeland.co.uk/white-wizard/F/C/cleaning-protecting/C/cleaning-protecting-clean-home/product/8988

Rogue sparks flying around my lead/spark plug interface
ww-promo replied to ww-promo's topic in Engine Bay
Yea your right; I mean rogue - as in unwanted! Cheers. Will have a look at the lead. Need to get hold of a spark plug tool first. Thanks -
Just wondering if anyone on here can help. I’ve been away for a week and on my return started up my VR to warm her up. Whilst sat on my drive I then noticed a clicking/sparking noise coming from under the bonnet so had a closer look. I then noticed a few rogue sparks flying around my lead/spark plug interface. Does this mean my plugs are knackered or is it something else more serious? Their only 13/14 months old. Ive had a good search but not quite found anything. Cheers.

....RED paint is clearly the fastest!............as its the lightest!! 8)

Cheers guys! Carn't stop looking at her. I left it far too long to give her a clean. As for the paint, a previous owner had her resprayed, and I've had the bumpers & drivers front wing re-done [on the insurance]. :D

Right not posted on here for a while now. I had the insurance work done before Christmas and all sweet.

The suspension is second hand so would have thought its already bedded in....Pic below. Excuse the dirt

Hi, The rear height sits nice, and is lower than the front. But I can get 4 fingers  in between the front tyre and arch. I know you can adjust the rear height a bit, but the setting was not on its lowest, so in theory the rear could go lower [or higher] if needed. If i increase the height of the rears then I'll be back to a standard ride height which defeats the point really.....

Hi. I have done a few searches on here and google but not found any answers as yet, can anybody help? Please. I have just had a set of Koni-Eibach top adjustable fitted to my L reg VR6 and the front seems to sit at the same height as the standard set. It is also a lot higher than the rear. This does not seem right, I had the same set up on my old 1.8 valver and that sat a lot lower. Is there something that the garage may have not done when fitting them to cause this? I have spoken to them since but they don’t know what it could be. Has anyone experienced this? And/or know how to correct it. Thanks ps. I will post a pic tonight.

Found my [now sold :( ] Valver! She does look good!....

Just reading your thread as I have the same problem with my VR. Have you managed to sort it? I have my MOT next week so will ask my garage what they think. Ta.
