I forget which way round but its all about been under or over square on your engine, going long stroke will hamper the revs.
-
Yea thats the head im after Stu but it needs to be executed a little better than that.
-
I think JMC had some stuff already done for sale.
-
Se these guys dude, http://www.wide-wheels.co.uk/Prices.html

Yea its def getting built back up, i do truly love the engine but i just want more power, too much is not enough. If my plans work out then it will be finding a new home in a Mk 1 golf all stripped out, caged up etc and the Corrado will be finding a new heart in the shape of a 20v fire breather lol.
-
Yea they are for gratis. Basically the casting company they originally used were not upto par by the sounds of it. Jabba were never happy they were getting the amount of Nickel content they said to use as its the 2nd to fail on mine and i have heard reports that others have failed too, so they are now using the same casting company that make the 20v manifolds. Also they now put on a turbo support bracket so it will move side to side but not up and down, so i am going to build it back up then get down to Jabba to have the bracket put on, thay tried to make it an off the shelf job but for whatever reason it was not as easy as it sounds so each 1 needs to be made for the car on the car.

No its going in the "i must have been bad in a past life and as punishment your corrado will randomnly kill itself repeatedly till i give in" parts bin. Just a new 1 dude thats been redesigned and needs more modifying to the engine bits somewhere, so i have been told but still waiting on it.

Hahaha not so good is it. Oh well get another on soon enough.

New amp & components - loads of interference - SORTED
junkie replied to Mark_Storm's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
Just seen this, Mark i can honestly say it worked a treat in mine with no interferance at all and i never had a noise suppressor or anything fitted, i do now have interferance on the Phoenix Gold Titanium 1200/1 or the 1000/2 that i am using now and they were 1K plus amps, i had re done all the wiring to make it neater and it then had the problem on hissing and i know they are not dodgy amps just picking up something somewhere, tried all sorts with the wiring and earths etc to no avail, made it a little better but its still there. I do hope you get it sorted mate. -
I am interested in 1 too just depends how much silver needs to croos palms.....
-
Considering i have never changed anything i dont think im doing too badly
-
Sooooo glad this is now going ahead again dude, been waiting a long time for some more progress on i, its now officially a Corrado forum retro car so to speak. VickN your car looks cool.
-
Well im bothered but not to those extremes and i thought as others did it was invite only to this thread. lol

Dont give nitrous oxide to an idiot....
junkie replied to CorradoVR6-Turbo's topic in General Car Chat
Been waiting to see some pics like this where its not been turned off then engine started lol. Just goes to show dont take your car to be worked on the the stealer monkeys ever. -
We need to see some pics of your car like now..... Only system i have seen was on American Hotrod on the Alumatub build they did and thats as much as i know about it.
-
Nice roof dude
-
You need to make or find a base. Try the CAE shifter thats complete, which also has the treverse lock out which makes putting into reverse easy with 1 hand instead of using 2.
-
I agree you need to make the efficient and in an ideal world you could flow exactly the amount of air you need to make your target horsepower without undue stress on the engine, but we dont live in an ideal world as we all know, although the pressure on the gauge is the que of air caused by the restriction of the head not been efficient enough to consume the air, the air is also entering the engine at a higher pressure so instead of cramming it all in its cramming it in pressured which is like increasing the compression ratio as a way of making more power but hence been more unreliable due to more stress been on the engine internals. So the CNC'd yes was been very efficient but the head/engine was also begging out for more boost to make more power.

go on then lets hear your 8v turbo figures  My figures are at the moment very very accurate and i guarantee no rolling road can measure it. 0 BHP at the wheels FTW
