  1. Well its easy dude get the manual out and it tells you, easir to do it in the car and not on the fob, use the buttons dude. Also PM coming
  2. He wants a car that does all those things though...
  3. You got to grips with it all Andy as you never posted back up, does all what i said previously now make sense lol.
  4. No giiiimp for getting rid then wanting another forum car ex renshaw lol
  5. Remember with the beemers there is most of the time feck all room to add the turbochargers, i have seen some with the turbo in the passenger footwell
  6. I have a JL Audio w3 12" but i want a smaller sub, dude. I have 1 Dynamat Extreme bulk kit, [9 sheets] split between the doors, which makes it triple layered on door skin and frame, Focal Plain chant behind the speakers, then 1 bulk kit dynamat extreme single layered on the boot floor and sides, under rear seats. My component driver needs mounting more sturdier in the pods and the tweeters need to go in the A pillar not the original dash grilles.
  7. The closest 1 of the towers was 29 feet away and the car looks loads better, def barnsley class totty. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7579513.stm
  8. I can make my FK Konigsports bouncy as hell if i set the damping to a softer setting, thats why its good to have the adjustability in them even if people say how many times do you adjust them or you never go on a track, well maybe so but at least i know i can set them up for my driving on my roads for how i like it from the word go. Also why people say spend as much as you can, which is not an issue in your book Skinny as you bought them knowing you would eventually change.
  9. I can highly reccomend the guys there, i have been using them for years now, service and after sales is second to none, the site might not be the flashiest about but a flashy site does not mean a top job company. Def look into another amp and a sub, no need to go large, 1 8" would suffice to give tight punchy controlled bass to add the depth to the music which you are lacking, also tweeter position makes a huge difference to the overall sound stage. Quality installation is everything in producing a superior sound.
  10. Yea Westside have been in it for the long haul as much as i can remember anyway, pioneers in the day and pretty much still are now, likewise always been a fan myself, i remember when Sukh's corrado broke cover on PVW when the mag was printed in good magazine paper/book type stuff with the square end instead of rounded [it used to be actually really nice to hold back then]
  11. Please keep it looking pretty much standard..
  12. Ah my bad then mate, when you originally said Dubclub i thought you were referring to been part of Westside as a group of dubbers, not making much sense here lol, but either way heyho lol. So what is the Westside Dubclub dude? Excuse my ignorance as im just not into the whole scene thing, enjoy my car and appreciate other peoples all the same as you do but thats as far as i go with it all.
  13. Oh give Source Sounds & Security a bell in Chapletown Sheffield, not a million miles away from you. http://sourcecars.com/products/audio.htm
  14. Just setting up those will make it sound better but not massively and are more suited to them be set up for your personal preference, which will never ever be set up "correctly" as no such thing exists. But if you do want it set up to play perfectly which is not always a good sound as in perfectly is perfectly flat, all frequencies are at the same volume then you need to invest in an EQ, but this will also give you more adjustment to set it up to your preference. Basically sound is a very personal thing to you how you like it to sound Chris. So yes by spending a fortune on stuff will mean a better "sound" it does not always mean its a better sound for you. Hope all this makes sense. I spent 4k on my system and i get in some cars with factory stuff and im like, i like that sound i wish mine was like that, but as soon as the volume starts getting turned up im like cringing and going turn it down, although it sounds reasonably loud and bassy, [mid bass], i can hear all the distortion in the sound now when i turn mine up it just keeps on going up and up louder and louder and seems to almost get more precise and clear, but the 1 thing thats always missing is the mid bass, which is very hard to reproduce as good as factory when its played on a modestly loud volume.
  15. Nice 1 then, its just the image thats been perceived then due to the high standard of cars from you boys, which makes it all the better if nobody is out just to win trophies.
  16. Congrats bro, so your with Westside and dont want trophies, that must be a 1st.
  17. I know i was been sarcastically ironic dude.
  18. Any pics of the farewell moment and did you remember to take the booster seat out? You tell them about this place if they dint know of it?
  19. Whas buggered the shell of it or the switches, and dash swapping will always be harder than replacing like for like even if bits are getting rare and expensive. I nearly bought 2 dash shells for £50 in total a while ago from 2 different sellers so they are cheap enough.
  20. I have also had the dodgy ignition, i think i have all wires spliced into 1 contact now so dreading when the last 1 goes.
  21. Clicky for how to mad a badged grill into badgeless
  22. Fair play i understand that but there was no mention of a Golf in there and your sig is corrado as is your Avatar. Cant help anymore then dude
