No they are (5 x 112) 7.5 x 17 ET56 Thats why I have to use the adaptors. Cheers! So will I be alright with 20mm adaptors then gradeAfailure ?

Im thinking of fitting a set of Audi wheels to my rado.The wheels are (7.5" x 17" ET 56) Will I have problems with this size using FK or H&R adaptors and a Koni H&R suspension setup? The car is lowered about 35mm.What size spacer/adaptors will I need to allow a 56 ET offset? Or is this setup just not possible? :? Any help would be great cheers! :)

Most of the MK3 VRs after my runs were doing over 16 so I thought mine was pretty good for a first time drag racer!

Hi went to the Pod at the weekend and tried the quarter mile! 1ST RUN 16.06 2ND RUN 16.563 3RD RUN 16.055 I was just wondering if this was a reasonable time seeing as though the car is bog standard with only a k&n panel filter. Have any of you got some times as standard or pretty much standard? Maybe some times with mods listed would be great for a comparison?

After carrying out mods I was going to try some( Motul 15w 50 ) any good?

Yeah that is right but all you have to do is make the fixing holes longer on the car ,to get more up or down movement to align them ! I didnt bother as mine arent too bad which are FKS ,which are apparently better fitting than the IN PRO !

dinkus there selling them on ebay at the minute for £99! Have a look mate! Oh and also do any of you try and refit the heat guard after installing a VT rear mount ?

The gearbox only takes 2litres mate?

I dont think the mount would affect the gear change from stand still as much,more on the move. Anyway the gearbox mount didnt fix mine completly but definitely improved it! I going to change the rear mount for a VT as its the only one I havnt changed. I does feel like movement thats causing the problem as i can feel it through the stick whilst trying to engauge!

Ive just recently replaced mine with (Motul Gear 300) because my gear change was getting a bit iffy. I think its more to do with the rear mount, hopefully anyway? The gear change is definitely better from cold! About £12.50 a litre! I just thought i would try something different, but Ive heard good stories about the (Redline MT90) stuff!

Well all done now and what a difference it makes !! Runs loads smoother and pick up is much better ! I do think that maybe the pumps getting a little tired though. I think Ill probably replace this with an uprated unit from sytec ! Definitely agree with trig on this one ,replace them every year!!

I found my worn gearbox mount was giving me problems in 1st and 2nd! Just another possibility? :)

Yeah nice one lads ,cheers! Im actually thinking of painting the silver around the fk smoke/reds I have for a more oem look,along with the front detailing. Has anyone painted around their fk's and got pics? :)

Yeah same as bristolbaron! I think it might be carbon look which I dont really like,but its the one im going for! It feels great aswell!I tried it out in halfords but im not paying that price for it ! What is it you dont like about the centre?

Im thinking about going for a momo jet .I reckon it will suit my 90's all black interior! Im going for a 320mm,what do you reckon :wink:

Ok guys cheers ,Ill fit one this weekend ! Come to think of it I do notice the noise from the pump more! Ill let you know if it makes a difference. :)

I looks like my filter hasnt been changed in a while and I was just wondering if a really dirty one would affect performance,throttle response etc? As the car seems to lag on pick up then gradually the power comes in! Any comments please! :)

just a quick one can you take a oil pressure reading using vag com without using a gauge? :)
