After some flat center caps for my G60 Steelies which cover the wheel nuts etc. I ordered some from GPC which arrived today but aren't the flat ones i wanted, they just cover the center and leave the nuts exposed. Anyone have a part number from VW for them? Cheers AJ
-
Cheers mate, i'll check that out. The wiring is really crap and theres wires everywhere from some previous owner so going to try to strip it all out and start again

Alright people, got a set of angel eyes on my late bodied G60, dont really like them and a friend has offered standard ones for a swap off his early 16v, will this be a straight forward swap or is the slam panel different etc? Cheers AJ

Was re-fitting my head unit when i heard something like a fuse blow, before this the stero was fine, checked the fuses, footwell and back of stereo and they were fine? Tried my other head unit to see if it was just the kenwood but nothing on that either, any ideas? cheers AJ

I was fine until the stereo packed up, back to hearing noises now as usual!!

Really really like this Rado just looks so right! Your making me want to run outside and fit my coilovers! Good work mate

Thinking of using Darren, just bought my coilovers from him and got a good deal. Chargers done around 20k so far so thought it would be best to get this done, As Jim says it'll have extra strain. Thought i was looking around 1000 quid plus or so for all of this so good news so far!

As it says thinking about getting the old girl chipped and pulley'd and the charger done to stage 4 at the same time, what sort of prices am i looking at? Also wouldn't mind knowing how much a boost return mod is, or is it better to have boost deletion mod? Cheers AJ

From what i've read OBD2 is the better one, somebody will correct me if i'm wrong though!! A 2.8 OBD2 engine in the golf is meant to produce around the 190bhp mark standard (came in highlines i think) whereas OBD1 produces around 174 standard...

You gone for the weitec coilovers Greeny? If so how are they?

Today i have picked up my Porsche Silver Roses all the way from surrey, then picked up and had fitted my new G60 steels from VW to replace the tired BBS wheels. I think it looks awesome on the steels so cant wait to see what it looks like on the Porka's!

Finally got round the other week to using a mit instead of the sponge and using the 2 bucket job, car is mostly always clean but i just wanted it a little better and it seems that the wax is a step forward. Anyboby recommend a decent one? Cheers guys
-
From what i've heard people saying, you cant beat the noise from a 'charged VR!! As Nike say "just do it"!!
-
Right, i wash my car then usually polish it with autogleam super resin polish. Now keep reading about wax and things and it's doing my head in. I want to know what steps i should use use and where the wax fits in and which one to buy, my cars not concours or anything so just want a really clean looking car that looks really well looked after! Cheers in advance :D Aj

I do like this but same comment as a couple, dont like the no handle job and the side skirts look to fussy for a clean car, tis smart though
