    VR6 top mounts

Just been reading through some old posts on here and it seems the VR6 had a 2 piece front suspension top mount. Ive just changed from a shock and spring kit to a coilover and my top mounts was a 1 piece item that sits on top of the bearings, is this right? Its a 1992 VR6 Thanks Adam
  3. £65 plus P&P, pics in my readers rides mate if you want to have a look
  4. Thanks, they do look even better in the metal, nice concave to them. Just need to get them all on and sorted now though
  5. Well here is a teaser picture, front coilovers fitted and trail fitted wheels. These need a bit of tinkering just playing with tyre sizes, adapters and ride hieght
  6. That does look sooo good! And charged as well, very nice!
  7. Yes!! Hahaha!! Utter bell piece. Common sense does not prevail with these idiots
  8. That's some really good work put in there, I would have no idea with the wiring! Looks great as well, nice one
  9. I would still change them all as a precaution, I bought some genuine ones for my Lupo from the dealer and after I fitted them the car drove so bad I couldn't even drive the mile or so to work, popping and banging and struggling to accelerate some of the reasons. Found 2 had arched in the same place got them changed under warranty and it runs spot on now. It might not be the be all and end all of your problem but it's a good place to start with the damaged leasds you have.. Adam
  10. But you have 12 more valves! Hahaha! Lovely Audi, always said if I had a decent income I would have a fast Audi, just look so right and the power from the map, wow!
  11. No bud, was just saying that I should of paid more attention at school. got a better job then I might of been able to afford one of these as a load lugger...Instead I have a Lupo GTI and a 22 year old Corrado :(
  12. I think I should of paid attention more at school!
  13. Think it's also got a short shift kit as well.. Picked the wheels up today, as soon as the coilovers arrive this week it will all be getting fitted, the wheels have been offered up and just work so well, only properly fitting them will tell though. Only seen 2 mk3's with them and this is one set...
  14. Got a Powerflow S/S backbox?
  15. Going to look lovely with the wheels, what size are they?
  16. I now have the new expansion tank to go on when I get some time and some fresh G13 to go in, coilovers have been ordered and pick my new wheels up sunday. Never seen them on a Corrado before (not saying it hasn't been done) just a bit apprahensive, I really hope they look good or i'm stuffed! Need to sell my old back box and K&N induction kit so ads will be up this weekend Hopefully can leave the car for the winter and just use my Lupo, need to find a garage now I've been left without one!
  17. Just rang to order one, ordered just the bottle and checked the part number and it's gone up to £19 + VAT Sods law they aren't £10 when I want one!
  18. God that Porsche looks good... Not a bad 3 car drive!
  19. You want a good one though, Bosch is it? I'm sure people will tell you buy cheap buy twice with those things!
  20. Plates all on now, phoned the insurance to tell them about it and they refunded me £17! Random! Think it looks great
  21. Well done for sticking through it, I too had my engine go in an old VR6 I had (paid good money too, still disgruntled with myself!) Was going to do it but felt out my depth with it. Will be spot on once done though. As for the G13, i'm about to do my coolant ready for winter, is this the stuff I need?
  22. Ahh ok cheers Jon,I knew he did it on the Aqua blue one I sold him a few years back, saves me some money and faffing about then. Keep looking at some Jeep Rubicon alloys for it as well..
