Hi, Do you still have the plastic engine cover with "DOHC" on it please? If it's in reasonable condition, can you let me have a price including postage ? Mike -
Hi, I'm selling my Corrado shortly, but it's missing the plastic engine cover with "DOHC" on it. Has anyone got one they wish to sell please, I will happily pay postage if it's not local ( Blackpool) ? Mike

One last word ... (OK maybe more than one ) then I'm out of here . I posted on this forum because I genuinely had no idea of how much the VSR was worth. How much I will pay in fees to E bay is my concern, as the BUYER pays nothing, I don't see what the problem is. I have never had a bad experience with PayPal, when I was scammed, I got my money back from them. I wanted to give the buyer some protection for what I anticipated could be a significant sum to lose if it went pear shaped. Thanks to all those who have added the constructive comments. Definitely, Mine was a 'L' reg coilpack car. I understand that there are problems with VR6's with OBD2 systems, although I did get a piggyback ecu which was supposed to sort the problem ( that's on E bay too !)

OK, My back is broad, If you think they are a load of grumpies here, You should try hanging out on some of the forums I visit, I've also got an MG and a MX5, you wouldn't believe how they can play up !

[Thanks guys. I only put Pay Pal to discourage scammers ...I've been had before. Obviously if the winner came from a reliable source then they could pay how they wished, Just hope it stays in the UK, but I need the funds for a new car venture, so cannot afford to be too pickey. Mike

Sorry chaps, It was never my intention to get anyones underwear in a tangle over this. Just to make it clear ;- I was not soliciting bids. I still intend to sell via e-bay. Anyone who says they will have it without either seeing it , or knowing the price ....what can I say ! I'm not a regular poster on this forum, if I posted in the wrong place, it's surely up to the moderators to act accordingly, and either remove or relocate my post. So... anyone who has contacted me with their e-mail addess will get pics and a full description , and an invite to inspect (Bispham, just south of the old TVR factory, outside Blackpool. I will put a sensible reserve on it, and invite payment by Pay Pal (the fees...I know , but it does go some way to protect the buyer....as I can personally confirm). Thanks for your interest and comments Mike

Sorry, I may have posted in the wrong place. Yes, It's a genuine Piebourg VSR with all the parts I have not removed the top cover to check the serial number, as it appears to be a press fit. Yes I do want to sell it. I genuinely had no idea of the price to ask, I intended to put it on E bay once this had been established, I did not intend to start a bidding war ! Mike

Crikey, I knew the $ had dropped of late....didn't realise it had fallen so far !

I've finally decided to sell my VR6 Corrado, and have removed the VSR manifold. It's a long time since I've seen one advertised anywhere, and wondered what price I should ask for it. I think I paid about $1200 to a guy in the USA in 2006, does this sound about right ? Mike

Went to the Nurburgring 2 weeks ago for the Classic weekend, and spotted K** W*d ( Aqua blue VR) looking immaculate at one of the viewing areas at the track, my first visit so I don't know exactly where it was, and they were dragging off a couple of big vintage Yankee bangers who had not made it...what a fabulous drive that track is, I took an MX-5 and mixed it with the big boys, only to break down in Belgium on the way back !

Hi, I'm looking for the green vac tank for my VSR manifold, I know that Schrick's use them, and I believe that they are a standard VW part. I don't suppose anyone out there has the part number, or knows who stocks them...I tried Vince some time ago , but he did not have one.
-
Yep, Wouldn't drive a car in the rain without it.......it's brilliant........you can often drive in light rain without wipers, the rain just runs back UP the screen from whence it came ! It's excellent for lights too, they stay much cleaner cause the rain doesn't seem to leave ant muck on them.
-
My local VW dealers are a bit of a pain...any idea where I can get the VW part number from ?
-
Thanks for that, mate.

Does anyone know where I can buy a reservoir ? I have a VSR which came without one ( I don't think they were standard with the VSR for some reason ).
