Bloke i bought car off has been using a vauxhall semi synthectic 10w 40 should i just stick with this or get something else, engine is on 131,000miles

i thought about painting all my exterior plastic in matt black, would they look odd you think?

could it be possible for the motor to be faulty? can't see much wrong with linkages

all the joints on linkages seem to have enough movement, some arms are a little wobbly, but nothing major

arghhhhh, this had made me mad :mad: i can't get to anything :( its the little bit of black plastic at bottom of windscreen thats stopping me. not sure what to do now, if i take it to VW will they charge £££££? i just not familar with it all

i'd just use coloured t-cut stuff on the bad bits, not all over, then a clear wax all over

Hi folks, Just driving home in the rain and my front wipers broke, they wipe up but get stuck halfway on the way back down. Was making a really horrid noise from the motor, i had to get out and push them gently down, they clunked and motor took over again? is this gonna be some bolt loose etc? can't look in the dark, am gonna hopefully fix it tomorrow

i really want a new gearknob, my OE one has leather peeling off it, gaitor is fine, not into the metal ones, do they make the rieger one with different coloured lights? like orange? may just get one and not wire in the lights :) -
they only mention this on that site "4 BAR GRILLE......................................£23.00"

i have a 1995 VR6 and the grill is cracked, when i buy another do i need to look for a certain year, or are they all the same? not sure whether to get a debadged one instead, may look out of place on an otherswise standard car

right its all sorted :) the variable intermittent wipe works too :) I do have a manual, but didn't think the wipers would be any different to most cars

Sorry for all the questions but i've been a vauxhall man until now. Turned rear window wiper on today by pushing right hand lever towards the dash, it wiped = excellent how do i get it back off again?, it kept wiping during my whole journey to work, making that horrid screeching noise :mad: it wasn't nice :lol:

yeah i do have aircon, but haven't used it yet. am going to see the old owner next week, so will mention it then.

Hi folks, After getting home lastnight and stopping on the drive, when i turned ignition off i heard a noise from behind dash that sounded like a sink draining and air rushing thru pipes etc it was from the passenger side. all my heating works etc, i did have the heating on while driving. is this to do with heater matrix? It been replaced once in the past. 1995 VR6 btw Many thanks
