i drive into the fence at work today, basically drove into parking space too far and just nudged the fence. has cracked the paint on my front bumper :mad: i spent 6hrs polishing/waxing the car on sunday in the cold, then i go and do this. i feel so annoyed that i can't go back in time :lol: i was quite sleepy

7th of november it goes up, thats today :!:!:! mines due in a few weeks, i shoulda thought ahead and saved some money

i think it may be mounted in the front bumper opening at the bottom, in front of radiator :) just a little black stick held with some plastic

i was thinking this, might buy a diesel escort van or something similar, as i need something for hauling fishing gear aswell

seeing as most only post when something is wrong, i'd just like to say mine is spot on now :D spent 8hrs cleaning/valeting it today, and looked almost new, to the untrained eye :lol:

am driving a 75bhp diesel van now :lol: joy! thanks for the suggestions, is a relief to find out it may not be headgasket. got it booked into garage tomorrow, they must be getting fed up with it already :lol:

UPDATE: (its all in one thread) this morning there was no coolant in header tank, a puddle under car and water leaking/dripping from the engine as you look at bay its on the left side of the thermostat housing and all that black plastic, but quite high up, too high to be able to see the exact leak where would i see the head gasket leaking if its that side of the engine?

am sticking with megs as most of the stuff i have is megs, not sure if what i'm planning is correct. -Gold class Shampoo/conditioner -Clay bar and detailer -megs stage 1 deep crystal cleaner -scratch x -megs stage 2 deep crystal polish -megs gold class paste wax is that the right order? am unsure about the paint cleanse, polish and scratch x? what order is that meant to be done?

I have the standard vw alarm, scorpion VAG 5000, i also have 3 keys fobs to unlock car etc two are buggered, now the third is playing around, i just stood outside local shops for ages trying to unlock car :oops: can they be replaced for any other ones? how is it done? or do i need to replace the whole alarm?
